Sure,I can understand that logic also, but Dillon could be one year only anyhow. depends if they feel Ship is ready, which you would know more than me about

One year could be the Eagles' 3rd Super Bowl.

We'll see how Shipley does tonight. He, as do others, have a lot to prove in these first 3 games.

That’s the key detail. One started practice 6 times versus one started practice 4 times. How much does that matter if both are switching up during each practice also though? The other key detail is: we traded for a CB.

I wouldn’t call the trade a "key” detail. It is a complicating detail, but it doesn’t rise to the level of key. We essentially got a young CB with starting experience ant two years of contract control for nothing. It was too good a deal to pass up. Las Vegas valued Booker much more highly than we did and surrendered value that they believed matched the value they were receiving.

IDK that Dalls would give a 2 for him anyway. Just a "what if" thing

Agreed, but that was the OP’s prop.

In principle I agree with you, but a 2nd Round pick from the Cowboys is too good to pass up in my opinion. If it was for a Day Tree pick I wouldn’t do the deal though.

Very true and I can't condemn that thought. I'm really glad I'm not Howie. Tough decisions!

Like to see my boy MJ. he is very raw,but very talented IMO

I'm eager to see him too.

You don’t judge a trade by what the other team is able to do with what they got. You judge it by what you got and gave up.

We got a dice roll at an important position. We gave up DL #5 or #6. Bottom-line, we gave up virtually nothing and got something potentially valuable to Fangio.

That's how I feel. May not happen, it was just "what would you do". I would take the 2, but like you, nothing less

Thanks for engaging the "what if”. It is part of the fun of this board

Nothing at all, since there have been no games to actually have something "done so far.”

All these prospects come in different. Jalen Carter….Jason Kelce came in just working..pretty much right away. So…White Gorilla didn’t just transition flawlessly….Oh well. Let’s see how he progresses.

I would think Dillon also has to be seen in game action. Although he has a track record from GB, we need so see him function as a bird

RIngo,beat like a stepchild LOL

McKee looking VERY sharp. Shipley looking really good. Johnny Wilson with 2 high-point receptions. Calcaterra dropped what should've been a sideline catch after a nicely placed ball by McKee on the scramble to the sideline which would've kept the drive going. Instead had to settle for a FG. Campbell with an opportunity for such an easy tipped interception; so easy that he dropped it. He was rightfully upset with himself. The first 2 drives were the Eagles' 2's vs Cincy's 1's.

Darius Cooper had some very nice plays, Wilson also. McKee has a weird throwing motion, but he gets it there. Fun so see McKee on the tush push. hard to do since he is so tall

LOL I was just getting ready to say that Coop-O (Coop-D, Cooper DeJean) is having a shining night.. McKee throws a SWEET ball. I love watching him play!

Eagles came to play. Gonna be interesting to read the post game articles.

A lot of difficult roster decisions did not get any easier thanks to this game.

Those Powell runs looked awfully familiar
