Those Powell runs looked awfully familiar

A lot of difficult roster decisions did not get any easier thanks to this game.

May need to see a little more in pre 2,but Darius Cooper could well play himself into a roster spot. Wilson looked good also. I fell asleep for 1/4 4,so IDK who else played. I forgot MJ was out with an injury, Powell was fairly effective. I agree this game brought them in tighter and muddies up the water. The cuts are going to be difficult to make on both sides of the ball

The best QB2 in the NFL BAR NONE!

ASmith(my boy) had a decent game. It's going to be difficult making WR cuts. With ASmith playing well and used as a returner,it's hard to justify them keeping Avery. We shall see how pre 2 goes

Carter 1

Davis 2-3

Ojomo 2-3

Robinson 4

Booker/Hall/Young 5/6/7

Robinson eventually could have become number 4

My grandson was the TE for Central Arkansas last year

He threw the outside block on many of Powells runs last year

Richardson hurt in the Indy game last night

It was only a finger but this is why I hate playing starters in the PS

Already was #4, as was clearly shown in last night’s game. As Jalen Carter noted earlier in TC

Some of the comments about Powell have been that he got his yards bouncing the run outside. Given he was running behind the third O-Line that isn’t the end of the World, but you want to see what he gets staying in the hole that is blocked.

Bottom-line, we have much better RB depth this year than last year.

Ham’s confidence in Shipley appears to be well placed. He could use some additional straight line speed, but his quickness to the hole is excellent and his decisiveness is great as well.

MJ going to have to play in pre 2 or the RB 4 decision will be easy(from a fan perspective) I know MJ flashed in camp, but that's camp.................the WR room will look solid no matter what. You can make a case for any of the 3 last night. or perhaps you just saw our 3 BU's all play. IDK hearing excellent things about Cooks(not looking up links), then you have Terrance Marshall(very lazy work ethic(he was lazy in FL also) so I think he's gone), so I would say 2/3 should make this roster "at the end of the day"(I really hate this saying lol). I wasn't impressed with Granson at TE unless he played well in the 4th(as I said I fell asleep lol)

Our team looked impressive however. McKee was just a BEAST

Ship should be a fine replacement for Gainwell. I suppose Dillon is the 3,so now the battle is MJ/Powell. Haven't seen my boy in any action yet as to who makes the PS. So pre 2 will be interesting at RB

Eagles stock up, stock down after preseason game vs. Bengals

Here’s a stock watch after the Eagles’ preseason opener against the Bengals.

May be why Howie got the Raiders guy in here. Someone told him(see Fangio) we needed a better BU CB. Another bad game and someone could be out on the street. I said in game that Ricls got beat like a stepchild and that the coverage was too soft. Getting beat by Chase isn't a one of,he makes many look bad,but lord Ricks looked like he was too outclassed to be in the NFL. Patullo looked more than competent at his job and had McKee lighting it up

My boy McKee looked tremendous. My boy ASmith is not out of the conversation yet. My boy MJ remains to be seen. SO as my friend Meatloaf said "2 outta 3 ain't bad"

I think both MJ and Powell will be on the Practice Squad. 3 RBs plus BVS on the 53-man roster.

If they make it to the PS

Quite possible another team could pick them up if they're released

We don’t know the whole story regarding that trade with the Raiders. It has been speculated that it was the Raiders general manager who contacted Howie knowing that Howie had an extra defensive tackles, and that Pete Carrroll did not like Jacori. In that scenario the Raiders would be trading a player that they didn’t value for a player they did value. if that’s the case then Howie did it right by listening and the trade was made.

Of course it’s always possible that he was the one who initiated the conversation

@cunninghamtheman what are your thoughts about the Eagles Offense last night?
