Grabbing a stud CB like Mitchell to Match Up with Lamb would work very nicely.

How great would we fare if we had a CB that could limit Lamb and these other larger WR we face in the NFC? Be game changing.

Talks about how he doesn’t have the fluid hips and such to play CB.

I was thinking DeJean could fit under Fangio being an off outside CB. Simms disagrees and balks at him even working in a Seattle style CB D. 

If being questioned so hard doing that outside…he isn’t a great option in the slot much of the time then. The most important position to have fluid hips. 

Jalen Hurts has the ninth best PFF grade from the 2020 draft class.

Had CB Terrion Arnold in for a visit. I’ve been talking about trading up for him. He was on a morning show and mentioned how Brian Dawkins was built and meant to play football …along with Kobe, Jordan and LeBron to play BBall…that he’s just born to be a football player.

The NFL has reinstated 5 players who were suspended indefinitely last year for violating the league’s gambling policy.

I think with the QB it's more of a concern....TEs seem to thrive in cold weather.  Different game.

Sure... you know they will get some offers being that they pick 1st..  don’t have many picks....teams will assume they would be willing to trade back.

What's the obsession with #5?    Don't you think they have different tiers on their board...why do we assume first tier is exactly 5 guys ?   You have 8... say there are 4 QBs drafted....that puts it down to pick 12...say a few other players go first...now you can get that tier at pick 14 or 15...  what's your trade chart say now?   

And not even the trade chart...you might find a team just looking to trade down anyway, might not cost as much.

To give up the picks NOW??? Simply for the number 5???   Bad business.

You wait to see if the CB is there at 9...then make the move.  You don't give all that up for OL or WR...or even the TE.

On the radio tonight the local draft expert... I forget dude's name... was saying he sees him as probably the best safety in the class.   Same issue with stiffness on the outside island...but says he knows how to manipulate the QB'S eyes and make mistakes.   Would instantly be the guy to call the defense in the back.

I won’t dispute it being a factor. But also doesn’t change my opinion on how much Manning relied on perfect conditions so heavily. Just really no comparisons throwing in a bubble versus dealing with the elements.

I said what I meant originally. I can make case for any of the guys willing to trade up for. But the top CBs every draft teams trade up to grab. Really hard to get a hold of. I’m not seeing that trade scenario as giving up anything crazy. That’s the amount we can afford to give up in my view. But like your other post suggests…of course I’d rather grab one of those same players at 15 than 9. Clearly cheaper. But you gotta have a trade partner….to go along with that player sliding down.

You’re disregarding BPA altogether. That’s a different viewpoint from me. I’d love any guy top five on my board. That price I don’t see as steep at all for any of those I listed.
