You say McKee will remain here for the remaining two seasons to finish out his rookie contract with us. I say…we are trading McKee before that.

Ok Joe,there is the wager(finally)

I said that?

Like I clearly said that... a clear prediction and not a possible scenario.... like I have McKee so much on my mind that I really care so much to have to force a prediction about him. Much more important than the Dickerson injury that you didn't talk about at all.... probably because your " inside sources" absolutely suck!

That's absolutely a possibility... will depend upon the progression of the other two QBs

Again though ... if the next draft pick we can get is a 2026 draft pick.... why are you rushing to trade him now? Why wouldn't the Eagles get the year with a quality dirt cheap backup and then trade after the season where they can then get another QB to take his place or get as a #3 if another QB steps up?

Why the rush to trade him now?

If I had to wager ... I'd say the highest probability would be to trade him next year..... 2nd highest he stays 2 years and controls his own fate as a free agent (but those two are close, just depends on compensation and development of the other QB).... 3rd possibility is if a QB gets injured and a team is desperate now and just overwhelms the Eagles with an offer. I don't like the idea of trading him now because I believe it will force another unnecessary move at QB. Costing us picks or cap space

First off seems your whole discussion is being based on the fact Rosie traded Pickett away. So do you feel Rosie made a mistake trading Pickett away failing to understand McKee trade value this season? That is the reason it makes trading McKee much harder.

I will wager McKee stays here for this year and we possibly trade him after that(or not, that is a FO call)

But No MAs claims Pickett had no way to force his way out of accepting his backup QB role in Pittsburgh last season they placed him in…since he still had two years remains on his rookie contract.

Find one post where I mentioned this or close to this

Why are you obsessed about Pickett..... it's August 2025.... WTF are you stil talking about Pickett?

Why does your mind your this way? It's really F@#$ed up!!!

When I read this sentence.... it makes it seem like the absolute goal is to trade McKee... why is that so important to you ? why do you have to trade McKee? Why?

Wager for what?

The other wager is about you say a backup QB can’t force his way to be traded under rookie contract. So put your money where your mouth is. Either accept the bet I can’t post a picture of Kenny Pickett in any other pro nfl team uniform but a Steelers jersey..or admit your wrong and I’m correct.

Guess no winners today…it’s a logic board. Obviously nobody else here was going to understand that one.

Proving you so very very wrong…time and time again. You said players have no power or leverage to force their way out. So clearly I couldn’t prove Pickett forced his way out of Pittsburgh. Under his rookie contract. With two years remaining.

32 teams.... which ones are trading for McKee.... RIGHT NOW? What are they giving up... RIGHT NOW?

Dallas, Washington, Giants.... nope

Detroit, Chicago, Minnesota, Green Bay... hope

ATL, Tampa, Carolina.... nope..... Saints... now or after trying out their other guy first? lets say possible

AZ, SF, Rams.... nope..... Seattle???? Lets say possible

Denver, KC, LA, ...nope.... Raiders.... they have Gino this year.... lets say possible

Pitts, Cincy, Baltimore, Cleveland.... nope

Jags, Houston... nope.... the other two... Colts or Tennessee.... I don't see it... but lets say possible

Dolphins, Pats, Bills, Jets.... maybe Jets

You guys should really study this and figure out how it works.

Admit you’re wrong…and I’m correct. Or accept the wager about whether I can post a picture of Kenny Pickett in any jersey but a Steelers jersey.

So look at the possibilities now

Jets, Colts, Tennessee, Raiders, Seattle and New Orleans

What are you doing if you are those teams? Do they have options at the moment that they want to see play out ? Do you trade a 1st round pick now, without seeing the other guys play out? Or do you try to steal away McKee for a 3rd round pick or maybe less?

Which of these teams ... right at the moment will trade away good assets that will be worth it to the Eagles... and to where McKee is guaranteed the opportunity to fail right away as a starter?

Right now??? Has to be right now! Otherwise, logic will state this will be addressed next offseason.

Anyone can find pics of him in an Eagles and Browns jersey, proves nothing. Steelers turned him loose because he wasn't good there. Pickett fought hard and "forced his way out" to go to Cleveland? Really? Check your logic board on this one

RE:McKee- could see him go to the Saints(Moore trained him and they are in cap hell) or the Colts, but not this year JMO

When did I say that? Find the post. I'm saying McKee... the nobody that he is in the world of the NFL... not the cult that is becoming Eagles nation with fans like yourself. McKee has no leverage... not a former #1 pick... not a former starter that lost his job.... McKee has 3rd string QB on his NFL resume... that's it. When the season starts, his resume increases to finally being a backup.

6th round ...188 overall.... career #3... he has no leverage.

Pickett... was a starter to where the team decided to get another starter... so a demotion.... not a promotion like McKee has this year. Much different

Not "NO Mas said a rookie...etc...." I am speaking specifically about the peasanty boy McKee. No leverage.

The Saints however would have to pay McKee and IDK if they have the loot

Me too... after the season

Just now, GreenbleedinNC said:

They don't have to pay McKee... McKee has zero leverage.... two years left for cheap... He is a nobody in NFL circles. Not a former #1 pick .. not a former starter.

He is a guy with potential... a young guy that has looked ok in meaningless time.

So if I can post a picture of Pickett in any jersey but a Steelers jersey..he’d be very very wrong. So if No MAs believes he’s correct in any shape or form? He’ll have no problem accepting the bet.

How do you know he forced his way out? Didn't the Steelers TEAM decide they didn't want him anymore?

Nobody mentioned Pickett..... your mind is warped! Nobody cares about Pickett... but go ahead and find a picture with Pickett if it means something to you

You are al over the place... can't follow your thoughts.

Be a normal person... Dickerson had an injury scare... that was the topic all day ... nobody cares about trading McKee... you are obsessed with dumb stuff.

I agree a starting QB ... a 1st round pick... can force their way out.... McKee... not that guy. The cult following of Eagles fans are nuts.... stay off the ham and cheese
