Watched some college ball. IDK why they even schedule these mismatch games. I understand it's exposure with some loot attached to it,but as a fan do these really need televised? OSU vs Grambling? Really? Nothing against Brambling,but play vs a team with similar chances. Nice tune ups for the big players,but really not fun to watch

I'm sure Patullo had a few plays lined up for BVS, so that was an unwelcome shift in the game plan

He found DG rather consistently. The swing pass to Shipley was solid play calling and execution. As was the deep pass to Dotson. The Cowboys cornerbacks did an excellent job covering AJ and Devonta. They came to play.

Really bad is an overstatement, but it definitely didn’t look as good as what Patullo called in the first two Preseason games.

Part of the problem was that the long lightning delay really affected the Offensive Line, as well as giving the Cowboys’ D-Line plenty of rest. As a result the typical "wear down” that we saw over and over again in 2024 4th Quarters wasn’t there. The delay clearly helped both Defenses.

No, no one did in Week One. And the changes made after Week Four weren’t because of the fans. They were initiated by the O-Line, led by Lsne Johnson, then presented to Stoutland, who signed on, and then presented to Moore, who agreed to them and gave the go ahead to implement them.

If one looks at the videos the beats have posted, the star WRs weren’t getting open because of the coverage the CBs and Safeties were bracketing those star WRs with. That is why Hurts went to Goedert so often. He was 19 for 23, and I believe all 4 incompletions were throw aways rather than targets. Bottom-line he consistently found receivers.

Hurts took what the cowboys Defense gave. Orlovsky does a good job of showing why Hurts ran the ball, and why the decision to run was the right decision.

I don’t believe the issue was money. The issue was performance. The opposing receivers were making too many catches even though Rodgers was in very good position. He never learned how to turn back toward the LOS and locate the ball OR to read the receiver ‘s eyes and know when the ball was about to arrive.

That 145 yards is a bit overstated. The swing pass to Shipley was credited as a 20 yard run.
