Media really reaching at straws to drum up strive between Siri and Hurts lol honestly comical at this point listening to the media

While most of Campbell’s snaps have come as an off-ball linebacker, he has gotten 80 of his 380 snaps on the line of scrimmage,

Proud of Vic shooting down any thoughts relying on BG coming in to play hero about the situation. Question was has there been any talk about bringing BG back? Which just zero chance his name isn’t anywhere on all their minds this season as an option.

But don’t want to put any pressure on BG…not until the move is actually made. I think it’s a short term option band aid fix for our team for sure.

Really thought we could have made the move for CB Greg Newsome from Cleveland. Really didn’t take very much…felt like Browns were moving him out as much as getting an offer they couldnt refuse.

But it’s been leaked that the asking price is high. He’s on his fifth year contract situation…so isn’t real favorable cap wise.

Olave one source reported his trade floor is at least a third round pick.

Really an option to consider here.

Olave you get cheap this season and have that fifth year option worth accepting in most any second season move. Easily see him as a extension or trade candidate.

"If the Eagles are in a pistol or under-center set, they almost always run,” The Athletic’s Brooks Kubena wrote on September 17. "If they’re in the shotgun, they sparingly run. The percentages are glaring when compared to other NFL teams. And opponents are aware.

Ham discussed and debated with himself and figured he was correct all along. But he already knew that. Those voices in his head just echo through the cavernous cranium space. We need to issue a "Hamber alert" for missing gray matter

The question was whether you’d go All In this season?

12 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

What do you think that would take? Or mean?

12 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

The other question I have concerns Q. Hamstring injury….really struggling to think there is low enough grade of hamstring injury that he couldn’t return in the game for where he should suit up for this matchup.

Now as far as intel you are trying to give the Vikes to prepare for Addore and Ringo? We need to lay the BS on thick……any less time they straight prepare to slaughter that duo the better.

While we are at it Dickerson as well. The less prep they have for Toth…well you know….though Dickerson they might consider rushing back here.

I wouldn’t consider Dickerson or Q until after the bye.

My concern is Siri leans mostly one game at a time approach. Just stepping away from making that 100 percent priority…those two we need right and as healthy as we can get. For whatever run we ..at least try to make…hopefully accomplish.

I wouldn’t go All In this season personally. To volunteer my answer. I’m looking at this as a growth season. Very young potentially strong core unit together on D. ST…returner situation no good. DeJean is our best PR….but think I’m reversing my opinion on utilizing him with them…for this season that is. On O we are stuck in the bed that winning the SB laid out. Siri finally got his say about running the O while empowering Patullo as his trusted number two removing any potential Siri’s roadblocks. Tricked Moore into actually creating a scheme..at least more of a playbook…along with actual player development through coaching. So everything riding on been years now developing Siri becoming that O mind he believes he is. Brought in and had everything possible to do all this for him the whole time thanks to Lurie and Rosie.

11 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

So regardless of whether this years squad can chase a championship….Fangio will get this D really rounding into shape this season. What happens happens….should play out to prove what clear pieces work/don’t and what’s needed.

10 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

This is the additional season Siri has been miraculously blessed with to prove himself the O coach or not. The track record is already so very extensive. Not in any positive ways on that front really. But….hired him as a young first time HC …that really never run an O before. So optimistically the thinking would be after years of development survival and several resources been provided to lift him up…that now he is equipped to keep growing more on his own.

10 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Or Siri proves beyond a shadow of a doubt he isn’t capable of running an NFL O. Not suggesting he’d be fired after this season. Think it just makes it undeniable he isn’t the O mind he believes he is. Enough so that Rosie and Siri himself have a long talk about how he has to relinquish that.

Vic straight confirmed Jihad has been getting Edge snaps and that Dean is an option for that move to take place.

Gotta admit seems like a good idea here. Get Jihad some tape and experience more at Edge. It’s a clear team weakness. At least until we get Nolan back.

Even the play-calling has been criticized by Lane Johnson and others for being too "predictable." It's like the defense already knows what's coming.

I hate guessing it a loss, but this team is like a gunked up high performance engine. Until you clear the sludge it's not going to win you any races. We have more tough games after the bye. After the Vikes away, we host the team that made us look silly a week ago. Best tear this engine down and rebuild it with what you have, but clean out the gunk. Knowing the O line is not last years O line requires Hurts to alter how he plays. He is indecisive on throws and that needs to end yesterday. I actually miss Gainwell, who could go on routes and break up the monotony. Shipley needs to show us he can replace Gains. Our screen game is terrible. We can't run the edges well either. BTW I abhor called QB runs. Most times they can easily read those and it's not working. Hurts runs better on broken plays and he needs to take off when they do break down, which seems to be far too often. We lost our domination and we need to get it back. We are failing at basics like tackling. Teams are running through us like Swiss cheese. We are giving up far to many yards on missed tackles. CB2 is an issue no matter who they put in, they are all getting spanked. Now Q is hurt, even if he plays he may not be at 100%. Wentz would love to toast us as a payback. He will get his chance. For me personally this is a pivotal game. I need to see basic football being played correctly. Tackling, few penalties and some offensive variations. It's crunch time for Hurts. He needs to rally and get everyone involved going against the guy he replaced. If we don't start executing basic football, you can forget the other fluff. I want to see if this team has resilience and can get this back on track. Hurts needs to let the ball go. Rant over

OT-Despite my rant, things could be worse. We could be the Browns who have/had 6 QB's(lol) and they pay other QB's who play for other teams(LMAO). Outstanding(NOT)

Q was upgraded to a FULL participant today…Yay! I hope he's 100% and can cover both sides of the CB position. I say put Mac McWilliams on the other side. Let Jackson ride the bench like the deadwood he is.

Carter was downgraded to LIMITED in today's practice. I hope it was precautionary rather than a setback.
