Oops cutoff…biggest improvement occurred solely based on the fact Toth is terrible long snapping while being our backup C option. How in this day an age could a guy like that even be considered an option to play C..even as any backup? So Cam injury forced Siri to make the key adaptation leading to our success. I mean are we really crediting O coaching for making that needed wise move/adjustment? Easily could view that as just really highlighting how bad the coaching was before they completely lucked into an X and O solution.

Kind of like how some here..and everywhere don’t understand the difference in stats and winning. Like how we had a two score lead and got beat by the Broncos…only gave Saquan one carry that second half in a game the rushing game was its most productive of the season. Could have fired Patullo and changed things up with our O right after that moment. Lurie and Rosie aren’t the typical knee jerk reacting NFL guys though. Good and bad…not sure if it’s a good thing right now in this irrational for us. Worked out massively in our favor most of the time being sure to note. I’ve been a believer that Siri and Patullo wasn’t good enough to run our O…so patience in a bad situation hurts us. My feelings about the O coaching situation I’ve attempted to adjust being more optimistic and positive about since it’s already the move that’s been done. Huge gamble rolling the dice doing this however. No salary cap forcing coaching situations. Crazy wild very low chances it works out as the right move. Especially tough being we weren’t forced into this situation due to such terrible personnel on the O side of this team..proven SB dominating winner returning a but one starter. It’s our weakest link without question.

Glad you’re optimistic about all this. Hard for me..though I’m trying. But you even pointed towards the fact Cam got injured forcing our successful O adjustment under C because of Toth. Actually would point towards the same thing you prop them up with to label as damning evidence proving how flawed job was being done.

If Daniel Jones doesn’t thrive under Steichen I don’t believe it would have occurred. Could have been given time considering rookie QB needed development.

See Dabol as a fairly good example for you on the point of O mind isn’t all that’s needed to be a HC. He knows some X and Os. But exactly my main red flag question mark I have hiring him to takeover as OC for us …character and intangibles…his style and leadership.

Kind of stinks that the giants are actually making good decisions so much more now. Easily could have stuck by Dabol for another season behind the reasoning of development of their rookie QB. Before they would have drafted Shedeur right at the top of the draft…instead of making the very wise moves they made…with Dart looking good…small sample..but he just passes the eye test of being a Baller. They got a super stud WR, franchise QB, stud pass rusher, fired Dabol…giants actually could become a problem.

Commanders getting rid of Snyder really such a huge move for their future competitiveness also. Two crap divisional opponents in the way up not ideal for us. Problem for those two though: they gotta deal with us. Losing the divisional cupcakes..oh well.

A talented OC failed after promotion to HC would be ideal for us. Solve our biggest weakness/issue.

Pretty sure there were reports saying Daboll wasn’t interested in keeping Saquon either which likely led to the decision to part ways with him and Saquon becoming an Eagle(good for us)

Thing is Rosie and most here had the exact same team building philosophy about not paying a RB. Heck FL stated endlessly how everything is all Oline anyway…RBs/Hurts don’t matter.

IDK would rather have a young guy who is role specific. We don't pass much with Hurts, 24 times a game is different than 35. We have star WR's that get a little upset if they are ignored. I want a Goedert replacement we can have for 4 years on rook salary, re-sign later for another 3. Ertz doesn't give us that
