Nothing scary at all for me…I’m nothing but consistent. Don’t care about stats much other than…the key is:want to see the team growing and improving. Be their best at the end. This season the way the schedule lined up? More important to probably focus on getting Ws. So I’ll volunteer this is my one main inconsistent. Otherwise I’ve clearly punted towards the same consistent source of our struggles on O being felt the most….the more Siri’s influence is over the O? Yep…similar results every time.

That was a long winded, meandering "style points are more important than wins for Ham.”

Thank you for the answer.

We should have one incoming after this next draft

How do you rank the team needs from the Draft at this point?

Our picks are

1st Round late - our own pick

2nd Round late - our own pick

3rd Round early - Jets pick

3rd Round late - Comp pick

4th Round late - our own pick

4th Round late - Comp pick

5th Round middle - Falcons or 49ers pick

5th Round late - Comp pick

Semantics. I should have worded it as "Ham believes wins are less important than style.”

Providing the link is good journalism. It allows the readers to go to the source and see the quote in its full context. That is simply being polite … a good neighbor.

That would take a long time to answer. Have we already witnessed AJ’s on the downturn? Are we extending our new Edge?…..

Week three wins are less important to me than the must win games..true

Which I went infinite steps further and provided you with the insider source. Your welcome.

By the way…what kind of KO are we seeing? Exactly what I said should happen before the first one was ever kicked.

And that is important because?

If you read the article and watch the games you will see that a variety of kickoff approaches are being used, and mixing and matching those approaches keeps the receiving team off guard.

Thinking hard and low is the kick

A win is a win. They all count the same in the standings. In the tie breaker formula the Week Three win is more important than a Week 17 important win this season.

You should count to ten before you post. You will avoid misstatements that way.

Yeah I’m mostly referring to the postseason…but maybe that final divisional game or late playoff seeding matchup.

Number one concern against the Lions Jamyrr Gibbs matched up with our LBs.

"So it was pretty cool to have a situation like that happen. It’s little deflating I think when you know the opposition knows what's going on.” Ojomo

the loss against the giants could matter regardless of when it was played.

But is it as important as the NFC Championship game?

Last season we dodged the biggest bullet in going to play the Lions

Everything matters…that’s saying nothing at all

It was good old-fashioned thinking.

"They had run a similar play earlier in the game on the touchdown drive that they had,” Ojomo said. "The quarterback came up, he said a word, they ran the play.

"And then the same thing happened on the 4th-and-1. It was like déjà vu. It was a word. It was like a one-word play. And they did that exact thing. So I was like, ‘Hey guys, this is what’s coming.’ So I just wanted to let everybody know that he literally just had this play.”

Josh Jacobs appeared to run to the right instead of the left as a response to the Eagles knowing the play. But with the blocking still going to the left, the play was a disaster, and Jaelan Phillips and Jalen Carter blew it up for a four-yard loss. Jacobs also fumbled on the play, although that didn’t matter since it was fourth down.

"He knew what was coming,” Ojomo said of Carter. "It allows him to play faster."

Jacobs told reporters after the game that he heard Ojomo calling out the play and knew it was doomed from the start.

Per Roob

I mean...the video of this with Ojomo yelling " inside zone this way" has been out for a couple of days. With Jacobs and Love commenting from the locker room the night of the game saying " they knew the play"

Agreed 100%

Stoutland is too good a coach not to figure out an adjustment to address the DTs following the pulling Guard through the weak side space that puller opens when he pulls. Motioning the TE from the play side so that he can wham block the DT as he comes through the gap is one possibility.

Sure....or...follow me here where we take your rocket science approach and we simplify to 7 year olds playing in the back yard...

Stout could change something

Dickerson could tweak something on his own

Hurts could change the cadence

Steen could give a different type " tap" to call for a different delay in the snap

The center could adjust the snap

Or...maybe they move the QB under center or in a pistol.

You see... in the game of football... there is a human element that ultimately ends up in the players hands . On a computer or video game ...ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS, are from the person playing the game as play caller etc... in real life, small adjustments are made all the time by players. In this example...you could say Stout or Patullo could tweak something.... 2 coaches...but I just pointed out where the QB, LG, C, RG...4 players could also tweak something that changes the element of the DT penetration in a particular time and place.

Idk, I grew up in the 1970s-80s... Terry Bradshaw and a lot of other QBs called the plays.... when we played as kids regardless of the sport, we communicated and made adjustments on our own very often with or without coach's input. Examples... switches in coverage on route where 2 guys cross past each other....in hoops defending a screen we called out switches, in baseball we set up pick off plays on our own if we saw guys drifting off the base. Hockey was always on the fly adjustments from players.

Coaching and trying to anticipate stuff is great... but having players with the ability to adjust in the moment works much better, especially if the other team does something unexpected or makes a sudden change.

A good example comes from Green Bay. Love and Jacobs both knew that the Eagles literally just called their play...you hear Ojomo clear as day. But if adjustments are solely on coaches...that did no good on this play for them.

Call time out...call an audible... change something. In that moment ( one could easily say the key play of the game) the players needed to adjust. The players are paramount... coaching absolutely important, but it's ultimately a players game.
