Miffed. Lost my fantasy game 124.6 to 123. I was third highest scoring. Close but no cigar. Oh well just have to keep at it. Bark is doing OK, but not worth the first pick as it stands right now

I say what coach would take that HC job?

A guy that needs to get his feet wet which is what Moore has done. He can grow and build much like Steichen has done in Indy. Colts doing well

So this could be a bit of a tightrope walk by Howie going on. We could use additional edge help(despite BG). We need CB2, but the tightrope is what do you offer to give up if you target those? We have so many guys hurt,it would seem difficult to me to know what you have based on the limited snaps they have played. I mean I can see us going after both positions in the draft, so giving up more than a 3rd would be off my list personally, but who could you target for a 3rd that could step into either role? I don't see Howie giving up a 3rd either IMO. SO how good of a guy could you get with a 4th. I doubt any impact player would be given up by another team for a 4th. This is the stuff where Howie earns his pay

The other aspect of the tightrope is that with Dean back they are playing 3 ILBs. When you couple that with the Nickel deployment of the DBs, you only have 3 slots for DL/DT/Edge/OLB. If Howie adds another Edge or DT, how many snaps will that player get?

They seem like our competition for the East this season. Definitely see Jerruh’ making a big splash here.

I thought it was Daniels as our competition?

I don't suspect we use BG every down, CB we need. I can't see another DT for the moment. We could hope Hunt comes on, it's still early for him. With all our injuries this is tough to do. You need to hold on to your future while adding to your present. We need a solid CB2 and maybe let a few go. There is no sense loading up on mediocre. It's a great point though to see how Howie handles the roster

I was a little surprised at the Bigsby addition I must say.

Smith just up and retiring was not in the plans either

Still a fan of MJ. Felt he would be doing return duty and a guy that could move into the 53 if we let Dillon walk. I would still prefer they increase the 53 roster to 56. P,LS,K don't really change much. Kind of "exempting" them would allow the 53 to go to 56,then reduce the PS by 3. But just the ramblings of an old man

FWIW https://973espn.com/eagles-three-cornerback-trade-deadline-targets/ One is the guy I already mentioned. IDK that the Hawks would be willing to trade Woolen. The Fins are a trainwreck

Jermaine Johnson is the guy I’m thinking to target…if we want to go big. That former Georgia Edge player.

Remember how high I was about Daniels….but couldn’t ignore how slim he is and how that won’t holdup. He’s injured again..hammy.

No question for me that CB2 is priority. Like you posed, what if Q goes down? If that happens the secondary is f'd.

Bigsby's production as an Eagle:

2025 SEASON

  • CAR

    6

  • YDS

    23

  • AVG

    3.83

  • TDS

    0

    Reminiscent of the Penny signing.

Woolen has fallen off a cliff. Probably not even as good as Ringo at this point.

They have a spot on the 53 man. And he doesn’t have to count for two weeks

2 weeks is pretty close to the deadline. I mean I suppose we could wait until the last second, but I expect another move

JMO my initial pitch would be to the Saints for Taylor. But Howie is the pro, I'm just a shotgun lounge chair rider

So if you were high on him but he won't hold up, why are you high on him?

Well, that's easy. Just put up 61 PPG. Why do I have to solve every dang problem myself???? 🤣
