The HC who took a 4 win team and turned them around into playoff and SB contenders? Moore didn't do it.Steichen didn't do it, Johnson didn't do it. I'm going to say something you won't like, but that's fine. Hurts is no "brainiac" OK? he doesn't grasp complicated "schemes" as you call them. He is a slow learner. He had beacoup potential when we got him. Siri brough him along at Hurts own pace. Moore tried to force things last year,but Hurts was a mess through 4 games. Thats when the Oline went to Siri and basically told him "we aren't good with this style of play and they were taking "illegal man downfield" penalties because that was not the O lines strength. Siri agreed with them and Moore pulled his pass happy offense back to what Hurts could handle. IDK how you never saw this, but whatever. Now Hurts emerged from all this as a more complete QB last year and you have Siri to thank for that, whether you like it or not is immaterial. I'm done

Why was this ever hard to figure out? Elite rushing team…use Playaction…simple stuff here. I guess it partly just stems from Siri not appreciating running the ball in the first place. It was Siri getting out of the way for Steichen to accomplish that to begin with. Playaction? Ohhh that’s at least taking a two step thought process…not for Siri.
