Good or bad the eagles overvalue 3 positions the OL the DL and the QB position. We going to pay top dollar for all 3 and invest majority of our capital on them.

Reason I won’t rule out Latu completely as I’ve mentioned my hold up is Howie admitting a mess up not the talent of the player

My "uneducated" guess

IDK what the reasoning was,it was surprsie pick for everyone

It was a terrible pick Hurts has worked out but being a playoff team with no WR help and taking a QB round 2 just isn’t good team building.

Hindsight now we can say it’s great and worked out and the picks from Wentz has helped build the team even more but at that time was just the wrong move

It’s as educated a guess as any of the so called experts

But I'm also sure Howie know he needs to get younger secondary guys in here. Having to suck it up and do it,DeJean is the most safe pick he can make stepping out of his comfort zone

We have said this about LB position for how many years now lol

And as I said I don't recall having that high a caliber talent in on a 30 visit

True, that will always be ignored lol. We had Trevin in from KY at LB. I would take him at 120

What I will say could aid Cooper Dejean and make him appeal to us is his versatility. Can play either CB or S and if I recall correctly he was also a return man

Think Dejean was a Punt returner

right,CB,S,slot he can play all 3. We can move him around for whomever we play. IDK with the new kick rules that return has much value now. IDk that I would risk him on punt reurns either

It would depend honestly if he is the 3rd 4th guy and we keep Bradberry…. Get him on the field however to make an impact… if he is the starter outside use him sparingly ie Djax(granted Dejean has to prove he is that caliber returner first)

Slay not getting younger here either LOL

Rotate with Blank year 1 maybe?

Some list DeJean as a S,others a CB

Howie could move UP,then back and rape other teams,He's done it before 😁

Seem like a lot of so called experts want to force him to S but I think he can easily play either for any team. I think of a guy like Charles Woodson(yes high praise) started as a DB then went to S later… could see Dejean doing something similar

Ideally I would like Dejean/Slay as the outside starters….. Maddox/Blank rotating at S. When we went to nickel Maddox drops as the slot guy. Blank is the S if we are more base can have Maddox at S(when healthy gives us way more range and coverage ability) then we have Johnson as well at S

And we deal Bradbury for whatever we can get

Rotate with Blank some, sub in for Slay or Bradberry. Lots of things we could do. Depends what kind of defense we want to play. If the new DC plays a hybrid D he could come into play. Covering decent TE"s in the middle would also help us big time

In this deep draft all picks are gold even into round 4

He has the bulk to do it,the other prospects are smaller, maybe faster but less physical
