The Eagles value the QB position they have for years now. Dalton could allow us to move McKee but we could also just as easily carry all 3.

We went out to get Howell last season, trade for Pickett to be the backup while having McKee. Paid good backup QB money for Mariota. Hell during Covid we went out of our way to make sure we had Josh McCown

Feeling similar. Could roll with these three. But also gives an option to draft a guy and trade McKee. Either way. No reason to trade Tanner for peanut’s or anything.

Was always believing Saints with Moore was an excellent trade fit. But we all know Nussmeir is Moore’s right hand man. His son being in this draft pretty much kills those thoughts.

Let’s say Rosie already had a Tanner trade in the works. A move for Dalton could be a very logical preemptive move.

What would Tanner trade value be right now? Fourth round pick?

Not going to say they won’t draft another QB but they should just stick with Shough was like 5-5 as the starter and won 4 of his last 5 starts.

Should only get better on top of the Saints roster should improve as well.

I’m looking at it from an Eagles point of view especially. So don’t believe they’ll give us a draft pick for Tanner they could use on Nussmeir. We all can probably agree with this.

Why are you anxious to trade McKee?

But you never look at it from the other teams point of view 🤣 What is anyones incentive to give up draft capital for McKee when Derek Carr is a FA?

Would say Howie would want minimum a 3rd round pick for McKee…. And probably would rather have a conditional 3rd that could turn into a 2nd.

If a McKee trade happens it will be during training camp some injuries happen around the league at QB and a team gets desperate

Pretty sure Derek Carr is still under contract with the Saints

The game commentators said it almost every game. "Don’t know exactly the playcall…but it will be Hurts escapes, buys time to hit an open receiver downfield.”

stats don't lie, but you do.

That’s exactly what we’ve relied on Hurts to do

and he failed.

Yeah retired so not a hard task to get him. He said he would play for a contender which leaves the Saints out. Vikes come to mind

Trying to find anything much out these current signings. Camp body competition it would seem. Dalton trade could possibly give an option for not being completely in a bind if we trade Tanner. Draft a young guy ..but don’t have to completely rely on him to begin the season as the second string.

So I will add this... to support your boy...

Hurts has not had that veteran QB in the locker room to use for information...support, help, playing experience to draw from... I don't want to use the word " mentor" but at least something to add mentally to help him.

Was just a thought

I don't think we move McKee without getting someone in they feel is at least his level. If it's a young talent that needs a year...Daulton moves to #2...but i believe they see Daulton as a #3. Vet experience.

This obsession with trading McKee is hilarious. Not directed at you personally...just in general from our fan base.

I'm curious... it seems the idea is this is what the Eagles do...draft a QB and then trade him later for value.

Just curious...when was the last time this happened?? AJ Feeley ...then Kevin Kolb ( only because Vic stepped up)

Foles was swapped for Bradford and then they let his contract expire...

Wouldn't the idea be that the Eagles like ti keep these QBs on the cheap? They like having 3 good QBs?

But for 3 years now... the McKee trade talks have been pretty frequent with the fanbase.. just curious as to why when specifically looking at what the Eagles have done at that position?

Saints still hold his rights...needs to be a trade

2026 NFL Mock Draft After Free Agency Signings and Trades

The dust has settled after the whirlwind start of NFL free agency, with the league's landscape looking drastically different today than it did entering the month of March.

B/R has us taking my edge pick at 23. I love the kid, but this is a serious reach. I just don't see that at all. Then again it's B/R LOL(I have him at 68) Meanwhile the consensus board has him at 52 and Stowers at 51, if that's the case I would have to take Stowers. Just thinking a bit, it could be advantageous for us to move back at 23 to pick up another round 2 because I would love to have them both because I am biased and they are both on my mock.🤣

I believe OT is still our first pick. That being said we could possibly move to the end of 1 and still get a guy like Blake Miller or Ihenachor and get an additional pick, then use other picks to move up for both Stowers and Lawrence The OT is going to have to sit behind Lane anyhow, so it's about growth potential. I would be fine with Miller or Ihenachor. Either of those with Stowers and Lawrence would be a helluva draft start

I do think this is the most likely outcome keeping McKee and Dalton at 3 but desperate teams tend to be willing to overpay for QBs.
