It factors in because we need a backup RT. We snuffed out a vet that Stout unlocked to backup the LT in Fred Johnson. I think Steen could play both LG/RG and RT. Maybe even LT that’s less pressing currently. Draft a guy that can similarly play RG and RT at least at a backup level and we have ourselves an Oline room.

I can see a RT guy as a round 5. A kid that maybe lacks credentials at the moment, but who could blossom with good coaching(if we have any good coaches)

We move backup OL guys all the time Steen will no doubt be here his rookie deal after mmmmm not so sure. Especially if he gets some decent games in filling in will likely get a Big V type offer

One of the first guys I mentioned this year was Suamataia. No one seems to know where he goes-BYU

12 is shaky as it is

See if you’re willing to go to 12..,9 isn’t much of a stretch in my eyes. But everybody has a right to their opinions. Some fans I know refuse to consider moving up further than Seattle. Some refuse moving up at all. I know two Eagles fans really set on wanting to trade back. Which I have to say they can make a strong case for.

Yea he played for the Jets and the panthers terrible teams lol

Jets in 2020 his best WR was Crowder

Panthers had a good weapon in Moore but one of if not the worst OL In football

Not saying Darnold will turn it around but I mean look at Geno finally landed in a good spot and has had a decent run in Seattle.

Minnesota has a decent OL Aaron Jones at RB and Jefferson/Addison easily the best WRs he has ever had.

Darnold did show well in the PS. But I actually see some quality in him. Agree with your points about bad situations. Maybe he wasn’t quite that ready also. Noticed what I believe could be him showing signs of improvement. Think he’s a very strong backup option…especially with the Vikes coach. I think coaching matters. Vikes have a very good QB whisperer O minded HC…a bit jealous.

12 requires the 50 pick plus, what other picks can we give up except 120? I want more than 2 picks in top 150 in a stacked draft

Moving to 9 would leave us with 9 and 53. I don't see howie doing it

Latu is just a safe pick for Howie in my view. He's a 'can't miss"(barring re-injury of course)

The guy with spinal neck fusion surgery is the safe pick?

Here's a freak Jer’Zhan Newton. Baldy says he's the most unblockable in the draft

He was my second guy after Suamataia in my Useless mocks lol. I like the kid

If Bears take Caleb as planned they better get a top flight LT at 9 in there or Caleb is done

They have a good team put together. Caleb will thrive quickly. Main problem is that division. Detroit and Packers won’t be easy to overthrow.

LMA0 after 2 years an 100's of evaluations I would think so

Any pick can get hurt on day 1 so what? You are cleared to play or you aren't

Will never forget Maclin blowing that ACL walking off the practice field

He won't thrive being blindsided every, other play. It would take a major deal for them to move off the 9 pick. Regardless of how good he is Caleb is still a rookie

Just saying I see Steen as capable of backing up

If we have any good coaches? There is zero question about Jeff Stoutland. He’s a stud Coach! If only we had other coaches at his level.

Then there is nothing to worry about adding a round 5 OT is there??? Why should I just hand Steen the job?. I want the best BU I can find

Some real high on him. I’ve been believing Byron is the DT that’s been flying under the radar and will be the first at his position group off the board. Somewhat depends on what you’re looking for in a DT.

That’s all I’m speaking toward at this point going into year two for him. Maybe start at RG and backup LG/RT.

Just going to nicely and politely completely disagree.

I see it as very highly likely. I’m putting the betting odds on Bears trade back from 9. Just my guess from all the info I’ve acquired. Whatever that means to anybody.

And that's why HR always says the linemen backups are so important and to always develop players there

So you're going to disagree any player can be hurt at any time??? OK then 🤣 Are all injured players cleared to play before they get hurt? Or does that come afterwards?
