As Ham pointed out with the Hurts stat of the week... Siri has been able to overcome the lack of passing in the playoffs. It looks like he and the rest of the organization are making a commitment to Mannion and his passing game. Let's see what it looks like. But may no longer look to avoid passing like they have had to the last few years.

Finally committing to an actual pro passing scheme is great. No more Siri’s O with passing game coordinator puppet Patullo.

Brings me back to the plan I suggested with Moore. Now with Mannion. If Mannion proves himself we should promote him and get rid of the dead weight at HC.

Imagine our opponents not knowing our play presnap every single time

So in your opinion Moore was the genius for deciding to stop passing the ball so much in 2024. He should have been promoted to head coach for realizing that limiting the decision making and passing attempts from the QB is what turned the season around and the team started dominating.

I agree that was the factor, not sure it was all Moore though. And going forward it looks like the organization is committed to the ideas of Mannion and it seems sink or swim for the QB. Especially with the guaranteed money running out next year.

What a #Hurtshater….you can’t stand it

Showing stats in context is hate?

As you say....you have an opinion about everything... that's great, you know what people say about opinions.

Me, I like using facts. Because there is no opinion about the fact that the other QBs have more responsibility by having to pass more.

But hey... you can have your opinion that Mahomes and Allen have had better receivers and pass protection... I'm sure it will find you in your favorite spot of being in the minority.

No …what actually happened was: Siri was going to get canned if we lost to the Browns. So Siri pulled back throwing to AJ(fallout). Pure self interest driven. Keep his job…..because he wouldn’t even land an OC job if he lost this one. Plus like I stated before the season even began…it wasn’t in Siri self interest for Moore to thrive with his players been kept down by him.

I feel Rosie/Lurie got back involved before that Pitt game. Moore ackowledged stepping up that week leading with the press conference it went that far. Then boom…lighting fools up!

What was my consistent opinion that summer before the SB season actually began? To remind you: it wasn’t can Moore get us far enough by the end was all that pretty much mattered.

Siri got shoved back out from taking over believing he’s an actual qualified O mind at what proved the last minute…for the Pitt game.

Previous game we stunk…with the overplayed quote from AJ concluding.

How have I been able to remain so incredibly consistent?

Finding the quality O mind coach is the most challenging. So don’t want to lose Mannion…

He obviously would be considered very developmental. So just need signs of he can work….more than everything totally being perfect and polished first season.

Early fluff report is Hurts and Mannion are clicking. That should be pretty much first priority for the organization.

It obviously isn’t on Siri best self interest for any OC to thrive here. Winning a SB is. But most everything else? Makes him look bad and worse….incompetent I’d go as far to say even.

You actually believe Siri pulling back that unbelievably talented O two years ago was key? It was an absolute terrible idea!

That O could have been in conversations….at least within debate….of greatest all time ever.

The O that once ironed out a few kinks in the brand newly created O…was ready to steamroll anybody.

Yes we won the SB. I maintain the key was Siri finally got out of the way right at the end…just in the nick of time. But is your argument that if we just unleashed…grew and developed under Moore….we wouldn’t have won the SB?

Our franchise paid a heavy tax for Siri’s play not to lose approach that season. Sick team that should have just been coached to thrive and succeed. Not held back trying to not lose.

Don’t cost Siri his job losing to the Browns

Actually we’re installing a new O. Had Hurts, finally under a coach capable of teaching, taking over so many new responsibilities for the first time.

Moore had to integrate plays into Siri’s O was the major work he undertook.

Moore had rhymes and reasons surrounding his plays. That’s what I refer to as The Scheme part. So even though he isn’t a fantastic playcaller….he educated and armed Hurts with Audible powers finally.

Those were the keys. Several games the key plays, it’s been confirmed, were created from Hurts audibling.

You guys oversimplify way too much. Reading a D involves most everything. First you need to get out of the huddle at the line to look over the D. Been a major problem and issue under Siri. One step thinking approach keeps biting us. Struggles to perform quality….heck adequate playcalling. Give our guys time at the line to read the D. That’s right "guys”. Because it’s supposed to be every player reading things. Every guy should be adapting together.
