I’m not feeling QB Cole Payton pick either. Especially don’t want Mannion to waste spending extra time trying to draw up some Taysum Hill plays just to get him involved.

Basically just needs to be a redshirt season for the kid. If Mannion survives to a second season? Then maybe he can start including him.

Mayfield then posted better numbers under Liam Coen in 2024, throwing 41 touchdown passes and completing 71% of his throws. The QB regressed last season, seeing his yards per attempt fall from 7.9 in 2024 to 6.8 in ’25; Mayfield also completed just 63% of his passes.

Last season under Grizzard now Eagles coach.

I can pull up example after example of how much coaching matters.

Staying on the outside and performing similarly well in 2026 would bode nicely for Hill as he angles for a new contract. Outside corners make more money than slot CBs, which is likely on Hill’s mind.

Referring to Dax Hill. Dax made it clear he wants to just play the one position of outside CB.

First paragraph I copied and pasted…weren’t my words. Second paragraph was me.

Funny how this simple fact surrounding positional pay seems to be so very clear to most media AND especially the players.

Time for a DB to get paid? They’d all chose outside CB. S next. None want to be stuck as Slot DB pay.

Baun contract adjustment

Benard is Clint Hurtt guy all the way. He stood on the table for him in the draft. He personally has worked him out. Uar is Dline.

I'm sure he wants him on D, maybe Mannion wants him on O. The dude didn't know how to put a helmet on. Hurtt will get him first, what if Clint said "you know he's make a helluva O lineman'. Why do you feel the need to pigeonhole a guy into a tiny who has never played the game before?? I started as a RB, then moved to TE and while both are offense are totally DIFFERENT skills. As a round 7 are you afraid or would you hate the kid if he moved to the offense???? Stowers stared out as a QB not a TE. Bernard has never played in ANY capacity. C'mon now

Clint Hurtt personally gone after this player. Pretty much feels so much like the Mailata scouting by Stout. Our Dline coach now pretty much taking over that role now with Stout run out by Siri.

Round 7 is nearly a UDFA. I hope he works out in any capacity at any position he feels good with, or maybe he decides football is not for him at all. Stop dropping labels on people before they know what is what

BTW you don't "go after" a round 7, you take them because they have a little more upside than a UDFA. He doesn't count against the 53. so why not take a swing?

But yeah…he could play LB…honestly S wouldn’t be totally out of the question. But he’s playing Dline. Possibly all across it.

More stupidity making a pointless point trying to score some imaginary gold star which just makes you look even more stupid 🤣. So tell us about your QB history and why since everyone is 'your guy" you aren't gainfully employed as the Eagles top scout, or O mind. I mean you could have been our OC for the last decade. Maybe you can take Siri's job with X's and O's

I like the kid, but I agree I don't want Taysum Hill. If they wanted to let him take some snaps in garbage time along with McKee and even Dalton as a QB why not? I will let the guys that get paid to decide, decide

Yeah, Evans out many games, Godwin hurt alot, Otton out alot, Egbuka was a rook. Sure diminishes your QB when you have no weapons eh???? Must be the coaches fault they were injured. Almost like when Hurts played there with BU WR's 🤣 So what was Hurts regression excuse? Same weapons? OH I forgot, making side deals to reduce performance. At least Mayfield didn't quit on his team. I'm glad he got the chance to get out of Cleveland, where QB's go to die, or where new die right away LOL

Sure acknowledging and being coachable are so key to fixing things. But some guys weaknesses are exactly what sinks them from ever getting there. Heck …MOST!

What is the weakness?

You’re just a prisoner of the moment. This all went down fairly much like I was predicting could be problematic. Everybody else blew it off because nothing had happened yet like that as an Eagles.

Ham... Carter got ejected before the first snap. That's not Davis keeping him in line... that's a poor job of Davis helping Carter.

Davis played well. Carter wasn't in line.

Yet you still dig. Put down the shovel.

Stand by consistently what my take was and has been on the situation. I pretty much predicted what happened to a degree. Now the key is whether Carter is permanently physically messed up?

Right now... predict it right now... one word answer needed... either Davis or Carter. No explanation.

The question. Which player leaves the Eagles first. Carter or Davis?

I mean...for you, Davis has no value for the Eagles without babysitting Carter right? He is paid to babysit Carter. So if Carter leaves...Davis shoukd as well.

Let's see what happens.

I form my own opinions. Don’t believe in the player. But then after we drafted him digested even more specific intel about him.

Like the intel that says he is worthy of a mid round day 2 pick?

I mean...I never heard of " trench warfare" ...you brought it up. I just pointed out how they said he is a day 2 pick.

That's like you pointing out a source that likes vanilla ice cream and then saying that you don't like vanilla ice cream.

Your methods for trying to back up your points are just awful. Like Davis being here to do a poor job of keeping Carter in line?

Or Gibbs 100 receiving yards leading to 9 points for Detroit.

" I think they forced OL, I think other players could have been drafted there...with names" very easy argument to make. Just say it that way.

So we are projected to have the 7th easiest schedule this season and the easiest in the entire NFC East.

That makes ZERO sense now that a #1 schedule (division winners) get an extra division winner game. I call BS on whoever said that.
