How can you say they’ve had no problems learning? See …right there…just pure #Hurthate…it’s everyone having to be on the same page…not just a Hurts issue.

Who has NOT been on the same page with new OC's? Who had problems learning? List please. Not hate at all, so stop the JV grade school BS name calling unless you are JV. Just ridiculous lack of adulthood and refusal to hold Hurts to the same standards as everyone else . So lame

In fact it was the Oline in the Super Season that came asking Siri that they would benefit so much sticking with the much easier rushing attack. The new O combined with the revolving rotating pieces across the Oline early …it wasn’t just one backup Oline guy that played…it was several. Pass blocking in the new O was not going smoothly. Hard enough just to get the five starters geling working together seemlessly as one.

Correct, because the O line understood the new O under Moore, and it wasn't what played to their strengths. The change was NOT because they didn't understand it, it was because they DID, please. The O line was being called for illegal man downfield because Hurts could not make decisions and get the ball out, thus in the RPO, they were downfield illegally. The timing clock in their head goes off, so they were assuming it was a run and started downfield to block. They understood what Moore wanted and it didn't suit them(because of Hurts). Doing less RPO and more play/action and flat out run sets fixed that and Mannion will be bringing the same. Now Hurts will have to make fast reads, decisions, and get the ball out just like Moore wanted

RE-running game. I would like to see more Tank used. I would like to see the 1/2 punch and the RB's go out on patterns a bit more. That useless bum Gainwell gave us that dimension and we need that back. Given time, Stowers will be a force for us. I feel he will end up outplaying Sadiq

Watching some Lemon vids. He's "twitchy" No speed demon(fast enough) but he is going to be dangerous with the ball in his hands. Watching him run cone drills was awesome. He can really shift his hips quickly to make guys miss. He will free up Smitty to go deep. Not sure what to expect from Wicks. I think Wilson makes the team. Hurts trusted him before he got injured. Darius Cooper could also stick as a returner. IDK if there is a place for Hollywood. Going to be a fierce battle in the WR room for a roster spot. Interesting to watch these battles coming up. Hope they all get through camp with no injuries. I'm looking at 6 WR's maybe 7 with fewer TE's since we got Stowers in. What are you guys seeing???? Smitty, Lemon, Wicks, Wilson, Cooper, (Brown/Elijah/Watkins/Covey-pick 2). I also liked Daquon Wright at TE last draft. The fact we got him as a UDFA was a bonus. He needs alot of work for sure, but he has to perform out of the gate so not sure if he will stick or not. My thoughts are he does not or ends up on the PS

Guess would be Hollywood makes the team. Probably 2 guys make the practice squad I’ll lean Cooper(over Covey) for being a returner. Moore(over Watkins) for a veteran WR we tend to like to carry on the team.

Very well could end up trading Hollywood toward the end of the preseason if other guys step up.

TE think it’s essentially a lock we carry 3 guys. Geodart/Mundt/Stowers the question is do we carry a 4th TE think it would be more likely we stash Wright or Calc on the PS.

Agreed. Wicks getting bashed just a little for missing the first OTA. Seems obvious to me he will attend the second one after AJ is gone. Or maybe Wicks was told not to show. No sense making a bad situation worse and Wicks already knows Mannion's scheme, so would make sense for him to stay away for now. Report(Inside Iggles) said Hurts seems to be grasping things this time

Curious what we do at QB if we don’t end up trading McKee or Dalton.

Wondering if we make a side deal with Dalton similar to McCown where we just stash him on the PS in case of emergency.

So McKee the backup Payton QB3 but if an injury happens we call Dalton up to be the primary backup QB

IDK much about Mundt,I need to check him out more. I'm fine with Wright on the PS, he needs 2 years anyhow, if he sticks at all

One of the best blocking TEs in the league graded top 10 in both pass/run blocking last year with the Jags.

Type of guy we should want as a backup TE especially considering Stowers is going to need time to develop as a blocker

My thoughts are sadly we trade McKee. I'm sure he would love to start in Philly, but he won't, yet I think he should get his shot. I bet the Saints would be interested to let him battle with Shough for the 1. Only other option would be to make McKee a nice deal as our BU for 2 more years with the "promise" he would start after that. I remember we paid Daniels 10 mil as a BU, we may need to hit that number to keep McKee interested. That's like sending a signal without sending a signal LOL

OK I will trust your analysis. Wright went undrafted anyhow(I had him as a late 5th), so possibly he would not be snatched from our PS, and if he was no big loss as we have no investment in him really. We could carry 4 TE's( Calc as the 4 and Wright on the PS) and only have 2 RBs with our BU on the PS. Shipley can go away as far as I'm concerned. He hasn't shown me alot. With Bark and Tank it's hard for any RB to break in for a roster spot

The Oline..like I just told you. They weren’t handling it.

The Oline weren’t on the same page…they needed it simplified

I remember Pierce had fantasy value his rook year. Went downhill from there, but possibly he can be revived here with a change of scenery enough to be the 3

I already told you they weren't handing it and WHY they weren't. They didn't need it simplified, they were long term PROS. It was due to Hurts not getting the ball out in time(which I explained and you failed to comprehend)

You are trying to suggest Hurts had any struggles with his long time family friend? All reports at this point have been nothing but positive about Mannion.

Yeah I believe Hollywood would pull return duty away from Covey. I feel bad for Covey because he is consistent. Not great, but he is always there, but I agree he loses out to Brown(Hollywood) Cooper still far from a lock, but I still love the kids effort. He tries so hard and as a walk on I hope he can stay

Then stop the whining that Hurts has had a new OC every year, because..................... so has EVERYONE ELSE and they seem to all have no problems learning, but somehow Hurts is handicapped?

Problem mostly has been surrounding it’s been pathetic Siri O

I'm not getting back into this SAME juvenile argument yet again. Stop beating the dead horse because it's NOT "Siri's O" and since after 1500 pages explaining that to you, it's fruitless to continue. Go do your own work on what a CEO is and do not mention this BS again until you do, which hopefully will be the remainder of the season. Siri is your HC, too bad that's not changing, get used to it

I explained all this to you also, apparently to no avail which doesn't surprise me. Yeah hearing good reports about Mannions efforts. He will introduce the same type O Moore did on a few steroids

Or he had something personal? I highly doubt it had anything to do with AJ....no guarantee he is a #2 yet here

I'm not sure the salary wouldn't come into play with that. Daulton on a PS.

Mannion still incorporating Siri’s terminology and playbook he stated…BUT sounding like he really gets to implement his own O so much more than any other OC for us has. Would think even Siri has to understand his mega failure by this point. He better let Mannion have room to work. Going to take time and some patience if we actually wish to develop and grow. Instead if skipping over it for such short term gains like Siri has chosen every other time.

It's 2026... what new pass routes or blocking schemes do you think the Eagles will run to where it's some kind of complicated learning?

Terminology is different...OMG they may not learn it by September because they don't spend 12 hours a day on football🙄

What you need to understand it’s an entire scheme. Not the oversimplification you try to just tag on #Hurtshate. The entire O each play adapts and adjusts according to how the opponent is playing against them. That takes time for all to iron out the nuisances and fine details.
