Once we get past 2027, trading or releasing him actually saves cap space. For that reason I think he really needs to tank this year and combine with such a good offer for him. With an adequate season it makes sense to keep him next year... maybe they plan ahead to get their ducks in a row to replace him, but he should still be the QB in 2027 as well.

Cooop and his agent will be happy lining up S money instead of weakest Slot loot. If he can play that position at elite levels. Which all along it’s the versatility piece I believed he always possessed …along with Slot CB.
May 27May 27 I’ve always questioned DeJean Outside. Still not completely limiting him as never and can’t perform outside. But was clearly the position he, at the least, needing much longer developing and working on. Honestly though I’m just not sold on him outside. Maybe can end up working on a few specific matchups. Probably be less about how strong he can be outside in that matchup….many more possible future scenarios I could envision where we’ll clearly have demand for Q to travel with his top threat anywhere he lines up. That’s winning football there.
