So back to football, I'm seeing the Patriots and Rams make the big moves. But look at the moves in a net gain. Patriots replacing Diggs with AJ. Upgrade? Sure, but how much, it wasn't exactly a weakness with Diggs. The Rams, they replace Verse with Garrett. Upgrade, sure, but how much? It's not like Verse is a weak player, he is already a plus player.

To me when teams make the gains, it's when they replace a weakness or average spot with a good or great one.

I look at the Eagles, could be nice on the defense upgrading CB2. That can cause a lot of problems for teams for sure where last year not so much.

I'm looking forward to watching the defense this year. I think the formula is old school with this team. Run the ball and play defense. I don't see shootouts with the current QB as the way to play.

JMO Verse is going to be very good. Garrett good? IDK he still has a high ceiling yet. In a few years he will be the next Cleveland trade because they can't put anything together. Howie made them an offer, but they wanted Carter and Howie said no. Good move by Howie. Let's see what Grennard can do

Oh I agree 100%. Short game is what we do,adding Lemon will make that short game even better, sprinkle in Stowers later as he learns the ropes and we could have a great team at the end
