No or low investment allows for additional bargaining tools, picks or some type compensation, and while it maybe doesn't yield top 10's, the ROI from these is incredible value. like hitting on penny stocks LOLSo I get that " QB factory " was used. But tell me the last time a QB was drafted as " part of the factory " and then dealt for a pick?

Seems he stashes vets while the draft picks can take time to grow. Even if they are only QB2's they still have value

I know we paid him like 10 mil as a BU, but I can't remember what we got for him, or maybe he just faded away. I could look all this up,but too lazy I suppose in my old age

June 5Jun 5 Author Philadelphia EaglesOn March 9, 2016, Daniel signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.[62] In the 2016 season, he was the backup to rookie Carson Wentz, whom the Eagles chose with the second overall pick.[63] He appeared in two games in the 2016 season.[64] On March 13, 2017, hours after the Eagles signed free agent quarterback and former Philadelphia Eagle Nick Foles, Daniel requested and was granted his release from the team.[6

June 5Jun 5 Author Foles was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019.The Eagles received a compensatory fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

June 5Jun 5 Author Anyway, McKee could be the first real draft product to yield returns, Payton could follow. He has the talent also
June 5Jun 5 Author Dalton is still amazing to me, although he bounces from team to team, when he steps in he let's it fly and is always dangerous for opposing teams. Fitz was similar in that respect

He’s good looking smart guy with an amazing talented gorgeous wife….but very doubtful he’ll be very good at this new job. He loves the fame, relevance and money…seeing himself on tv…so he’ll definitely show up for that job. If his wife makes regular appearances I’m more intetested.

Loves his approach. We put a lot of stock in what Mailata says around here. We can't take what he says about Bell lightly.

Problem I feel is his weakness can’t be fixed even serviceably at the NFL level. Actually if you take Mailata’s words …it kind of tells and makes my point for me. He’s had top coaching….worked real hard to even come up with a totally different work around. That worked on college…at LT. Massive does translate from college to the pros. But not at the levels he can pull off only one handed blocking the most elite word class NFL pass rushing athletes

NFL guys study film looking for any sign of weakness. So most of these Edge NFL players actually preparing at all to face him will eat him alive. Have to remember these elite NFL Edge also have the resources of top defensive minded coaches(Dline as well as DCs).
June 5Jun 5 Micah Morris is 6’5” 334…already practiced against Carter and Davis(we are all very aware how quality these two have proven to be at the highest levels). But he kind of more slacked. Didn’t work his tail off like Bell. You’d think that all would favor Bell. But actually I’m seeing it more in Morris favor. He has huge potential…fell and hasn’t reached as near his peak…because he hasn’t been dedicated and worked nearly as much. AGAIN sadly we don’t have Stout anymore. Thanks Siri!!!! Pretty much be no brainer Stout would have got the most out of him. Heck I’m not believing Stout would have even backed picking Bell in the first place. Stout understands and sees what it takes to play OLine in all NFL forms. Looked at Mailata and knew. Can coach …a willing coachable talented enough athlete to do the job. Can’t coach up a fatal fundamental flaw however. Plus even if you are high on new OLine coach vouched for by Fangio and respected seemingly in wide NFL circles ….impossible to follow such an elite all time legendary Assistant Coach.
June 5Jun 5 I’m calling….since Siri ran off our elite legendary all time Oline coach…our third round Oline pick will be a bust. Nobody is higher and values day two draft picks higher than me. I’ve constantly made my views clear about day two being so huge a factor in draft class success.
June 5Jun 5 Just to make sure record is clear and straight…I wouldn’t have hesitated to fire Siri chosing to keep Stout. My opinion leans that strong.

June 5Jun 5 Matthew Robert LaFleur[2] was born on November 3, 1979[3][4] to Denny and Kristi LaFleur. Denny had been a linebacker at Central Michigan University, winning a national championship in 1974 and at one point holding their record for the most career tackles, before becoming a long-time assistant football coach at the school.[5] Kristi was a physical education and health teacher who coached track and cheerleading.[4][6][7] Kristi's father coached football at Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan.[4 Top elite NFL O mind …hand picked by the top most elite NFL O mind to be groomed. That guy…hand picked Mannion …what has been sounding like easily.
