And this still has zero to do with the original post which was if the local media was talking about him yet.

Again if your going to quote me stay on the topic that was being talked about which was Sorbsy being talked about out on the local media.

I have no feelings one way or the other on if we are interested in drafting him. But the rumor is already out there so it’s obviously going to be talked heavy in the local media

The topic…was no topic….couldn’t see us investing big in a QB with a huge gambling problem.

Doesn’t even make sense Howie Roseman the man that has quoted wanting to be a QB factory and ha clearly shown he isn’t afraid of players with character concerns wouldn’t drafted a 1st round talent player of if he can get him on day 3.

Howie is the same guy who paid Sam Bradford, chase Daniels, traded up for Wentz…. Drafted Hurts in the 2nd round after paying Wentz. Traded draft picks to get Kenny Pickett to be our backup, late rounder last season for Howell. Just drafted a QB in round 4, traded for Andy Dalton.

In what world is there no chance Howie wouldn’t consider a QB? Do I think he would invest a 1st or 2nd rounder in the guy no that highly unlikely and in the realm of "no chance” as you say…. But a day 3 pick for a player that is widely regarded as a 1st round talent yea 100% can see Howie taking that flier

The local talk is they expect Howie to make a bid, most likely a day 3 pick.

So you can’t read the topic got understand no comprehension skills

Also no mention of investing heavy on Sorsby the original question asked was if there was talk on Sorsby locally.

I replied no and that the talks would likely ramp on in the media since he just declared.

SHOCKER!!!! They are talking about Sorsby on the local radio.

But again had nothing to do with if we are interested in Sorsby if we would draft him none of that the topic you decided to quote was only if he was going to be talked about on the local radio station in Philly which he has been

Sounds about right for Howie low risk possibly high reward

You would think good value.... kid would get a year experience before you even have to lose the draft pick. Little talk now, but I'm sure once they announce the draft date, there will be new talk on the day of and probably before.

I thought the report is that he is going to retire?

Yeah,I think he was in the position "Do I still want to do this", and decided he did not. Not a big thing either way. Howie always scouting around all year, but we need to get players in whose names I can pronounce without hyphens 🤣 Harvey Jones I can do, Malgnifyiaplaya Doogkieminogo -Mahahalfala I cannot

What’s interesting is….this is a very hyped draft class coming at us next year. Be pretty dumb to give any of those up at this point. We clearly witnessed how league circles were so differing in their treatment of 2026 picks(seemed like one of the weakest classes) versus 2027 picks.

Feels like it’s something to sort out the suckers. Was hearing it as going to take a third round pick too.

Hurts our trade value with Tanner, the depth at QB expected to be competition via the draft in ‘27. Third round 2028 pick?

Makai Lemon admitted the playbook is challenging.

Should be interesting to see how everything shakes out come camp.

Logic would say that it's worth giving up a pick that would be less value than what you could get for McKee in a trade.

Could also be that they aren't looking to invest more in QB until 2028?

that doesn't bode well for the qb considering he couldn't handle moore's playbook, either.

At the end of the day, we need to run the ball and play great defense... we've seen this every year recently, " it's a new complicated scheme with all this stuff" and then when push comes yo shove...it's shotgun, read option, don't turn the ball over and run the ball.

I don't think anything changes until the change is made at QB.

The real question is the commitment to the offense is it stronger than the commitment to the QB.

All signs pointing that way

Sounds like Trot Jr has been having a strong start to OTAs/Camp really huge if he can step up be a strong #3 LB this year for us… Buan isn’t getting any younger and Campbell doesn’t have the best track record so far with his health

Funny how the position used to be a major weakness

It better be lights out because Hurts is struggling bad.

You’re forgetting it was the Oline that came to Siri asking to make things easier.

And you are forgetting that Hurts was on pace the lead the league in turnovers before the OL asked to take the ball out of his hands and lean on the ground game.

Was what tied for 1st the year prior then had like 5-6 turnovers in the first 4 games

Only spring time, lets see how he does come the real games

💯 a strength of Hurts game is avoiding turnovers. At least when he is on his game
