June 13Jun 13 If it was just identified D playcall? That only was interfered with for the most part because coaching always too late getting playcalls in. Majority of time under Siri, if we exclude Moore season, broke the huddle coming to the line of scrimmage so late in the playclock.
June 13Jun 13 But Siri nonscheme didn’t provide answers or adjustments. Obvious predictable alignment ‘telling’ opponents O playcall. Most basic part surrounding a playbook being every look supposed to have mutilpe differing options to prevent exactly this.

The one local reporter gets mocked for charting his passes in OTAs and camp. If he did it 5 to 10 times per day in years past... why does ot matter if he does it 20 times per day now? It's not new. Doing it more is not new or different....it's just more. Not an excuse for poor performance. Not being a dick...just stating the obvious where it should be to you as an Eagles fan also...especially if you mentioned videos from camp... that means you should know this right? Just sounds like an excuse for the QB entering his 7th season that another poster on here would give. Which other QB in the league would get this excuse...because he is doing in " more" .not anything " new" I don't think any other QB would get that pass.

June 13Jun 13 The reason why anything should not be of too much concern ...is simply timing. Nothing counts now....3 months until it does. That's when throwing poorly and not making the right decision matters. Not so much now when it's basically just exercise and drills.

Hurts proved in fact he was more than capable to perform all these tasks well. All that Hurts had been lacking that is absolutely required was: qualified O mind that was capable of actually coaching…providing an O scheme to finally produce from.Moore equipped Hurrs to run the offense yet Hurts had his worst season as a passer under Moore…. But Hurts proved he was more then capable doesn’t even add up lol 😂
June 13Jun 13 The only thing that has been shown consistently is if we don’t have a top D unit and a top 5 ground game we struggle…. Hopefully that changes this year but can’t say I have a ton of faith we can win consistently if we are asking Hurts to throw more

If you need all that then your QB isn't worth the $60 million contract that is going to be market value for elite level QBs that don't need elite running game and elite defense
June 13Jun 13 Author Hurts needs to become a running threat again. The "unknown" factor keeps D's at bay. When teams found out about his side deal and pulling a Houdini, D's just teed off. The D will be good, but even a great D can't be on the field forever, the O needs to perform to give them a breather. So maybe Hurts doesn't need to run ALOT,but he needs to bring that threat back. Not on called QB runs, Hurts is best on broken plays. But he used to run for 10-15 yards, the 2 yards scared OOB or falling down like a little girl doesn't cut it for QB 19/32. He keeps saying "I need to do better", yes you do, so top talking and get on with it

He is completely different type of player than Lamar or Vick who were always going to have speed. Hurts feels like he is more in the realm of Russel Wilson and we seen his fall off when he could no longer run around

Another issue I have with Hurts is his hesitation. He needs to make a decision and get the damn ball out. He also has issues turning his back on defenses. Just not quite sure what to expect here yet. I seriously would love to see McKee play with the 1's. When we see him it's always with the 2's and 3's, so hard to compare anything. The WC O is alot more passing, but we play better the less Hurts passes.so something has to give,it can't be both. We heard Hurts was missing guys right and left. Should be able to make those throws regardless who is at WR(unless they are serious chumps). So Hopefully Hurts understands what he has to do. Hope our O line can stay healthy. Without that, Hurts is just horrible at getting the ball away under pressure. if he decides he's not going to run, that becomes a big Q for me
June 13Jun 13 Author Tank is a good player, we need to lean on him more. Most everyone has said the same thing. Shipley was supposed to pick up Gains reps, but he hasn't done it. I love Bark don't get me wrong but Tank can hold his own. Ship can go away as far as I'm concerned. I was never a fan

I was never a fanI think Shipley is a solid receiving back in limited reps clearly lacking as a pure runner and unsure of how he does as a blocker in pass pro.Doesn’t really seem to have much of a role though right now as long as we have Barkley who is better in every area. Then Tank is the better pure runner and should be the #2 guy.

With the limited QB that we have we need to play to those strengths. I expect another 2024 where we try all the normal plays early in the year until the OC figures out that he needs to adjust to the QB's limitations.
