Since he pulled his litigation vs the NCAA, the NFL made the correct call IMO. He will just have to train a year on his own, but the NCAA decision should really hurt him in the '27 draft also. I don't personally care, but he made his bed and he should pay for that mistake.

Going to be interesting here on the legal front. Does he now sue the NFL for disallowing a supplemental? As they stated he never was punished nor made any attempt to fix what he did. A "bad influence" may not be a valid reason to keep him out. I would imagine any lawsuit filed vs the NFL would end his career for good. He can join Kaepernick searching for a job lol

Fourth round pick is significant always. If nothing else it’s ammo to move around. But you are speaking of blowing picks in gear league circles are treating as an above average draft class. Most every team has been holding these draft picks real tight to their vests. Two articles I came across actually suggested it was going to take a second round pick in the supplemental draft. Who really knows what the price would have been? Sorsby talent wise has a high ceiling.

Was it Isaiah Rodgers got suspended for gambling? But yeah took that chance without giving up a second round pick in a very valuable draft class…for a CB. Such a weak attempt leaping towards it effecting Hurts. Hurts is our Franchise Leader….everything goes along with that Sorsby isn’t…even if Sorsby maybe has a stronger arm. Should be completely unbelievable that any real football fan wouldn’t grasp this….except it isn’t here at all.

But his impeccable judgement and decision making are key traits we look for in our franchise leader at QB.

Really the key Sorsby possesses most likely is being in debt to mobsters or bookies forcing him to throw games. How can you build a 53 man roster without one of those guys?

Bet on his own team… ruining his life likely…at the least making sure the road is so much more difficult for him to achieve. Everybody knows you can’t bet on your own team especially. What a quality decision maker you guys really circled the wagons on there to run things for us.

The man signed Vick when he got out of prison

Signed Isiah Rodger’s who was gambling on sports

And this doesn’t even bring up how Howie invests at the QB position over the years

Finer detail nuance surrounding all this…to where I completely disagree. Starts with valuing quality strong character players in this very stable front office and owner ship. All coming together to create a strong enough culture and organizational environment to get the best out of a..Jalen Carter. DT and CB aren’t viewed the same as QB though.
