Bell just so massive! I know #Hurtshaters just love to rip at Hurts as fault and reasoning for the obvious approach needed for Bell to succeed. But yep…it’s run the ball. Bell gets his hands on opponent can punish him once or twice completely alters that guy as a pass rusher. Nothing guaranteed. It’s a fundamental right physical theory and philosophy I believe in. Seen it proven all my life to be fact. I’m no small guy…but Bell would absolutely hurt me proving I have no business anywhere near that situation. Not to sidetrack making anything about me personally.

Point being key is to give Bell opportunity to attack and utilize is pure overwhelming size and strength as early as possible. That pass rusher not going to be as nimble and fearless after face to face experiencing the dangers he faces. Might at least just physically take half a step out of him. But easily often results in pass rusher likely taking that wasted extra step further outside and around in his outside pass rush. Bell so huge…takes an extra step just getting around him anyway. That rusher understanding just how overpowering outmatched he is if Bell gets his hands on him? That rusher not nearly as likely to bend the corner as tight as needed for NFL pass rusher to get to the QB.

I’m not to any point admitting I was wrong in my scouting of Bell. Anybody involved reporting right now likely been fanboying for Bell. Like after first practice…or OTA..can’t remember which…several Eagles media fanboyed up big time all about how great our rookie QB was. They clearly pushing agenda wishing for reasoning to pump these guys up. Sometimes at levels where it feels like the story has already been written…they just looking for one actual moment to justify posting it.

Feel it just as important to volunteer seen several differing sources reporting Bell very much looking on track to be a legit NFL player. So not much pointing towards my negative opinion towards Bell working out as a quality correct scouting prediction. Not admitting to taking the L just yet with him though. Like I said…kind of those guys agenda wishing to pump Bell up all along.

Rumor was former TE Harbor videoed a rep Bell had looked absolutely worth getting excited about him as our new Eagles T. Not allowed to video and post these parts of practice. So he’s in trouble with organization for doing it.

Not looking good for my scouting reported opinion on Bell. Which is great for me! Rather personally be wrong…while Bell instead succeeds. Be absolutely so huge for our future of Eagles organization to have T in place.

If Bell doesn’t work out? The investment and resources will be large to acquire starting even serviceable T. I’ve been keying in on trading for Darrisaw. Fantastic T that’s proven and experienced with our Oline coach. But no idea if Kuper ,new Oline coach, will even be here past this season. Darrisaw an expensive option. Cost high draft picks along with massive financials. Targeting the draft with glaring hole to be filled? nothing but risky. Likely trading up drastically toward top of the draft going after solution. So much more than just going to use our first round pick being on T. Our first …along with multiple quality draft picks to move far enough up….difference in desperation need. Can’t just sit back at 24(or wherever). Not if the need is immediate starting T. Cost so very high to move those distances towards the top of the draft. 24 up to 12 cost a fortune.

So third round steal a year early, actually not sold so optimistically it’s even early and not closer to needed this current season. Huge leap forward so positive for future of the franchise.

Bell fulfilling our need for T is judge as arguably most positive Eagles single man difference maker for organization going forward. I’ve been speculating around two firsts and a second round pick. If for Rookie T he’ll command fairly lofty high rookie pick guaranteed money contract. If proven vet? Command huge loot as well.

Not really easy wide open future cap Eagles really have to invest. Q, DeJean and Hunt are just complete locks to retain. All massive contracts will be needed to do so. Going to be tight for Rosie to just work all this out. Paying starting T piece added in really not sure how it could even possibly work out. But even if it could be done? That’s all and everything Eagles investment ahead. Guys have to walk along with zero room bringing in much of any answers through FA.

Seems like to me all decisions already set for Eagles. Paid Jurgens, Smitty, Carter and Davis. Retain Cooper, Q and Hunt just no brainer franchise commitments. All three about to explode with huge seasons driving all three up to mega contracts. That’s it! All decisions feel set in stone.

Likely pushes Baun out. A couple of others as well. No room looking to pay outsiders to come. More like it wi take trimming some weight to create room to just make these no brainer extensions work.

I’d obviously have Hurts extension completely in the works somehow additionally. That’s some crazy money if you tie all these together. Such a large chunk of whole cap situation…just towards a handful of studs.

Concerning Bell? I’m really looking for any actual signs I can actually view myself to have faith in him. Will take the L admitting my opinion was wrong as quickly as I can. Doesn’t need to prove super stud dominant and perfection first PS game. If I can just see signs proving he can hold his own. Had a very specific reasoning I wasn’t liking in his transition working to the NFL. So anything close to reports I’ve been seeing being accurate should be enough for my scouting comclusion to be proven inaccurate.

Bell had high quality college coaching that he dedicated working so hard on creating what he did to cheat quality techniques. Appreciate any blue collar dedicated hard work thats coachable. Easy to root for those athletes. Seemed like top quality college Oline coach would have been able to make traditional fundamental techniques work for him through all his strong qualities to be his best. So why would that Oline coach formulate entire work around approach? He worked his butt off to make the work around a great dominate reality in one season. That states the issue wasn’t related to work ethic or coachability reasons for why he wasn’t just putting all the dedication and effort straight into ordinary technique concentrated answers.

Mannion point blank asked about whether Brotherly Shove will be added to his playbook? He confirmed that such a successful play would remain regardless of scheme change.

First opinion from me being seems like Brotherly Shove is no longer as effective a weapon as it was. Seems it had a short window of domination. I’ll take every minute of what Eagles got from the most basic play possible. Siri right there in the mix as much as Dickerson, Kelce, Jurgens and Hurts deserving of credit. Siri really perfected so detailed maximizing the Brotherly Shove. Just worked and worked while all out bringing in foreign nation Rugby experts to get it so mastered. Most basic play as it gets. Siri perfecting every micro detail is what took it to the levels it reached. Really extended the life of Brotherly Shove effectiveness. Took the exact ideal athletes to ever make it work. Dickerson and Hurts especially. The play was obviously good from the start. But I don’t believe it’s assuming too much at all stating it would have faded so much sooner without Siri’s absolutely top level of perfecting and mastery.

I go as far as saying Brotherly Shove would have already lost so much dominant effectiveness before SB season without what Siri did extending it. Full credit deserving, if for nothing else, Siri made the difference in Shove dominance for SB season. Everything he did was required getting it there exactly.

Siri got the play exactly far enough translating into winning championship. Not looking like it will ever be nearly as effective again. Huge props Siri absolutely earned so specifically on this. Crediting his crucial role extending that one play still being absolute dominant weapon for the Super Season. Feeling it would have lost effectiveness a season earlier without every single effort taken. Feel it lost effectiveness immediately after SB parade. Last season league had effective plan countering it. Sure injuries and Super Season physical toll took away ability keyed natural fit for why play worked from the beggining. But I’m not a believer it was only Dickerson, Jurgens and Hurts physically worn down or out of even in game performing it. Believe all the top D minds going after figuring out a way to combat it…lead to the answers.

If any player will be ready when the time comes it will be Lane

Future Hall of Famer!!!! What an absolutely great pick in the 2013 draft!!!! Foundational piece for the group that has been the foundation of the team for a decade! Imagine if we goofed that pick back in 2013?? What a HUGE mistake that would have been.

Top coaches and athletes. That’s the roadblock to overcome in the NFL. They all work on countering it will figure it out. Each little idea shows any detail towards answer? All the rest see that and add to it. Moves so quick.

Just like how Niners did exposed entire league fueling our Collapse. Really pretty sure it was Jets that got us as that 1 in the 10-1. Niners took all previous games while applying beginnings of blueprint Jets setup effectively against us. Niners weren’t even close to clearly recognizing predictable playbook. That was already broken down. Eagles players were just overcoming all that refusing to lose reaching 10-1. Everybody that season was all over presnap high percentage understanding our exact play called. Hurts was escaping to buy extra time for AJ and Smitty to beat pro defenders sitting all over routes being run. Run plays weren’t a whole lot more than super basic. Not massive exaggeration stating overwhelmingly consisting of only four different runs. Left or right inside or outside zone.

Just example towards how best of the best will figure out countering answers not much longer than a blink. With this understanding it really shows just how fantastic The Brotherly Shove life span was. Such an accomplishment! Paid off exactly contributing crucially extended that one more season of dominance resulted in Championship parade.

Play naturally worked with Hurts from the start. Dickerson and Hurts together it was dominant counted on advantage. Siri took that so much further mastering. I credit for it dominating still in 2024 specifically.

Undeniably useful NFL coaching skill. Siri took most basic play to that next level…strike that…many levels beyond just next level. Detailed specific mastery perfection best of the best all together couldn’t stop. Goodell was trying hard to ban it. That’s really saying something(not just that most powerful man in football is totally against us…though that also).

If Siri did that with most basic play…wouldn’t there be optimism earned that Siri could do that to any play? QB sneak would seem like most difficult play achieving this. Applying this to any other plays you’d think child’s play comparatively. Key relying on advantage strength traits and ability personnel possess. Need players to fuel it(whatever).

Can Siri specific detail to next levels a couple other plays now? Be very key if he proves to possess this talent. Do it for two plays added in each season. I’d say QB sneak most difficult challenging play to do it. What he did there I’m believing can be done to any play.

Sounds like Markel Bell has been playing really well in camp and is super eager to learn image being the guy calling a 21 year old T a bust and wasted draft pick

Bell was super impressive for the Canes. Gave up zero sacks and Miami wasn't playing St. Marys LOL. Lost in the title game of course to an excellent O in Indiana. Howie spent ALOT of time in Miami. They had alot of nice players go in the draft. I'm sure Howie checked them all out. If I recall Howie was in direct talks with the coach and even stayed there for 2 days. Bell has the best teacher in the NFL. All indications seem to be we're not going to miss Stoutland. Bell is a big mass of humanity. I hope he get's some snap time with the 2's and may even see him coming in a snap or 2 to give Lane a breather. I was bit sad to see DaQuan go, the TE from ole miss. I knew he wasn't a starter, but think in time he would be a nice 2. Understand he was expendable, maybe we get him back on the PS.

Hey Cap, question. You can retain DeJean and Q, then what do you do? Do you pay other top players or Hurts if he remains mediocre? Still need to see good performances this year but there are 2 maybe 3 franchise type QB's in next years draft. Hurts is fine as a game manager type, but a top passing QB would really open things up for us. Smitty, I hope Wicks sticks and can be re-signed, Lemon should be up to speed, Stowers could come into his own also. Creating a more pass heavy O(with a QB who can toss it more than 30 times a game effectively). If the O line is back and Bell is going to work(which thus far seems he will) snagging a top rook QB gives you ammo on the money side to keep/buy who you want. Cole could still slide in as our new #2(see McKee replacement)

I heard about retaining the Push. Not really a fan of it as it's alot on the O line and a sad admission that you can't gain 10 yards in 3 plays. OK for desperation 4th and 1's, at GL from the 1 but it's not a play I want to make a habit of. If you can't get 10 yards in 3 plays, that's a dig on your QB. I don't think the O line enjoys running those much. Of course they will do what's called to the best of their ability, but I hope to avoid them as when we ran so many one year the O line had more injuries. TB had those figured out and I imagine all teams have watched that film many times over. Darius Cooper has been killing it from what I am reading. Kind of puts Wilson on the bubble?
