Ok thinking out loud(always dangerous here) they should play the safe short game with their TE's They have 2 which if used correctly are going to give Fangio fits. They are safe throws for a BU QB who is of course exuding confidence. We need to snuff that out ASAP. I would use delayed blitzes(and regular ones) from all various angles to confuse Bagent. He's not a total rookie, so we can't just blow him off. I will assume they can stuff our running game with the weaker O line we have at the moment, that should not be hard for them to do. If that is the case we need to give Hurts time. I'm also expecting Mannion to use RB's out of the back field on routes which we haven't seen alot of. Since we will basically be without a TE or limited at the position I suspect we see Hurts on intermediate type throws and I believe we have the firepower over their secondary. I'm going with 31-17, dragging out the 4th 1/4 and tacking on a late FG. I think we can wear their defense(secondary) out. So I will put this in my "official" post to Matt

31-17 Eagles- Hurts with 3 passing TD's, defense with a pick @mattwill I may update this if Williams plays, but doesn't seem likely

I certainly don't want to play to lose our QB this early in the season. Playing not to lose got us at 2-0 thus far. Playing to win lost Daniel and now Dart for other teams

All the dust they made cause their season to collapse by losing their #1 QB's and you want to emulate that? This team runs on the running game which is struggling. We had to make a last ditch comeback to win this game. Without that last TD we lose. Did we play to win or not to lose? If we played to win we should have scored 35 points

Feeling best with had nothing to do with it. That would be the short-sighted approach. They were thinking long term in settling on that’s option for Game Two. It was the configuration that gave them the most useful input about the long term.
