No I consider it pretty basic you could have simply said Smith gives us another YAC option fine I agree he will no doubt get plays designed for that…. Hell could and maybe even should get more plays designed for him if Geodart goes down would need a new 3rd option.

But that again isn’t replacing Geodart is my point it’s we have another player playing to his own strengths.

i don’t expect a 190 WR to give the same mismatches our 250 pound TE does….

You don't expect a 190lb WR lining up next to a OT and fake blocking before catching a screen... that's why you understand it has nothing to do with Goedert.

One specific play in this grouping I’m referring to was we had three guys out wide in a bunch. DeVonta and AJ in front of Goedert. Threw to Goedert to let him create. Ran this one play several times last season. Who was as the next option to takeover Goedert’s role in this play? hints: it wasn’t TE2 or TE3…wasn’t Quez

Why another outside WR? It's an ok pick, just didn't think we should have gone WR

Wilson,ok WR, he has some promise

Big raw 6’6 WR has some good guys to learn from in AJ and Smith. AJ should be able to help him learn to utilize his size more

If that’s all you’ve seen Goedert do you haven’t been paying attention

I saw same play to Quez..  idk about " several times?

Would be great to get that play out of the playbook.

We need outside WR BU's after this year. Get them in and working and learning, smith is not really an outside guy. I'm sure he could do it some, but not his specialty or strength

Seeing D's for the Keegan pick, nice if he proves them wrong

Seen Goedert do a lot.   Blocking a key part of his game.  It's hilarious you obsess over one play though and think that has anything to do with any draft choices

LB Easton Gibbs Wyoming would be a good flyer.

Screens...we call them screens.  Otherwise it's a zero yard pass.   The guys in front blocking set up the play.

I love how you worry about 3 plays all season when you have a guy like Goedert involved in so many aspects

Dylan McMahon I did notice and not a bad pick

Took C from NC State with our final pick

It’s an element to the O. Really didn’t have a creator otherwise. Now we brought in two. I noticed…seems pretty clear our staff did as well. That’s what matters.

All in all pretty solid looking draft for the Eagles

Again could have easily just stated we have other YAC guys lol not they are replacing Geodart. Two completely different things even if we run a similar play with the WR that we use Geodart on

C Dylan McMahon, our draft's over

Really wanted the tall long rangy Miami S Williams. Think he’s still out there. So maybe both these guys will come aboard undrafted.
