April 30, 20242 yr He learned alongside the best. Kelce still talks him up and I don't think Kelce as a bs'er
April 30, 20242 yr We were at 16 mil dead cap…but that’s climbed to 38 already. More coming pretty obviously.

Pretty much will back anybody and everybody been by his side. But Jurgens showed decent at G. So no reason to believe he’ll have a huge decline moving to his more natural position of C.
May 1, 20242 yr HR on taking Trotter Jr not as a legacy: "You have to stick to your board,” Roseman said. "We can't make up a grade on any player just because we like them... You know, the best person I know in the world is my wife, and I don't want her playing linebacker for us either.”

Kelce was a player that lived up to the billing even his last season he played. Kelce didn’t have to retire because his level of play dropped off so hard. Kelce was playing at a high level even last season. Guy was a complete stud player…all the way. He earned that name recognition pretty much every single game of his career. Let me ask you and I want a LIST. Define what makes a pro bowl center as opposed to just a regular one. Just that one position.Anxious for your response because there are other centers that are also pro bowlers. What is your criteria?

So now the drop off isn't all that significant like you were panicking on earlier? Another case of taking both sides so you can "call it" . It gets really old

First there was going to be a near insurmountable drop off. Now it's "he was a decent G so he should be a good C" .I enjoy the flip flops, reminds me of living in FL,but you have more of them than they do
May 1, 20242 yr Completely consistent. Of course there will be a drop off from the best we’ve ever had at C to Jurgens. Duh! Just basic and obvious stuff I keep explaining to you …seemingly endlessly.
May 1, 20242 yr Like I said that’s not speaking poorly of Jurgens. Just because he’s not looking like the best C of all times for us doesn’t mean I’m stating he sucks. Huge divide in between all that.
May 1, 20242 yr I’m not going into page ten defending Jason Kelce to you. Dude was a stud…his whole career!
May 1, 20242 yr Anybody else think there won’t be a dropoff calling the assignments and the execution at C going from the greatest we’ve ever known to Jurgens? Or can we move forward past the glaringly most obvious?

May 1, 20242 yr Author Still waiting for the list of what qualifies as a pro bowl center. Since you are "educated" and "aware" this should be a breeze

That's "consistent"????
May 1, 20242 yr Author Was Kelce the best C we ever had? Sure, I would say so. He also had top notch guys playing next to him most of his career, which helps individuals immensely as a unit. So what are the stats between C #1 and C #32 league wide? It's a simple question? I will answer myself because I know you won't do it. I'm sure 1 is not allowing QB sacks/pressures,so what are the others? I would think not missing games during the year would be a factor you could count. But seriously this chasm between Kelce and Jurgens is so immense you know its a BIG drop off before one snap has been played? Jurgens played at RG(if you recall) and he got to hear Kelce for 17 games(plus pre and 2 camps) as to "how and why I called what I did" and he was hand picked by Kelce. That's a nice head start over a stone cold rookie,so your initial panic was unfounded and I'm glad you returned to sensible. Does Jurgens have things to learn. Of course. I never said he didn't. But there are 32 C's in the league and if they can't play the position, they don't last long. He's probably not going to make the pro bowl in year 1,but there is no need for all the panic and name calling and thinking you are better than everyone else when someone else points things out. It's supposed to be a DISCUSSION board
