How did KC win the SB if we had the best ever C? We shoulda whooped TB's arse last year. Without the tush push Hurts will actually have to play QB now Are you actually saying here that Kelce was living off name recognition in his career? Completely false! Kelce was a player that lived up to the billing even his last season he played. Kelce didn’t have to retire because his level of play dropped off so hard. Kelce was playing at a high level even last season. Guy was a complete stud player…all the way. He earned that name recognition pretty much every single game of his career.
April 30, 20241 yr "How did KC win the SB if we had the best C ever?” Stated by FL. Are you kidding me here? We put up 35 points. Fact is the best C in the game now plays for the Chiefs. The guy is really good. How could you even try to make the point of Kelce being something lesser because we didn’t win the SB? Just ridiculous! It’s a team sport. You try to keep placing that one loss on individuals. Really just two individuals. We lost that game over and over because of Hurts you’ve been endlessly pounding the table about. Now trying to take down Kelce a notch because we didn’t win that game…like it’s because he isn’t such a great player. Just a complete lack of any real understanding of team sports. Complete unawareness of what happened that day.
April 30, 20241 yr We had most of our team(players and coaches) come up extremely small in that SB. The obvious scapegoats were everywhere. All the guys that shrunk in the big game. We had a top D that season. None of that whole side of the ball showed up…at all. All these players that are so very talented and played like crap that day. Yet you are pointing to two of the guys that played excellent ball that day as the problem. Just zero awareness. I have no idea what it is you ever are seeing.

Disregarding how the Oline is a unit that has to work together as one. One finger that’s the best in the world can’t punch like a solid whole fist. AGAIN.... I believe the OL and Secondary are units. where ONE player ...ONE STUD... ONE OL or DB doesn't make as much of a difference as having a COMPLETE UNIT. If I had my preference for ONE STUD... it would be WR or DL. Because you only have to win ONE MATCHUP when you are the offense looking to attack the secondary...and ONE match up when you are the defense when rushing the passer or even penetrating to tackle the RB. The OL needs to be the UNIT... 5 solid guys... with NO HOLES, no WEAK PLAYER. The DBs... solid unit with NO HOLEs... No WEAK PLAYER. Dion Sanders and Izel Jenkins don't work as good as two solid CBs. Prime Jason Peters and Danny the Fireman don't work as good as Evan Mathis and Todd Herrimans. However.... T.O and Pinky work better than Reggie Brown and Jason Avant Jerome Brown and Mike Golic, work better than Bunkley and Patterson ... Lawrence Taylor and your scrub OLB opposite are going to work bbetter than Connor Barwin and another decent OLB. The Stud WR and DL can win their battle... its a win for the team. The CB or OL win their battle... you still need to win all the other ones, or won't be a win for the team. ****** Prior to the OBVIOUS that the secondary and OL units needs to work well together... is the fact that INVIDIDUALLY the players must be good enough to do their own job. So having 5 solid OL... no need for hall of fame jacket... but NEED for all 5 to be quality level individual players should be the goal. Prior to the 2024 draft, the Eagles getting a solid RG would have completed the individual portion of the OL... prior to the OBVIOUS gelling together. Getting ONE STUD CB... still need more in our secondary. Now we got two CBs, and didn't draft an early OL.... who wants to say with confidence our secondary will be better than our OL? Now imagine we drafted OL at 22, then another at 40... took DBs in round 5 and 6... would there be a question if our OL would be the better unit than out secondary? No... because our OL was closer to being a complete UNIT.
April 30, 20241 yr BTW... am I the only one on here that realizes today is Tuesday... nobody else is saying it, so I must be alone? WTF! 3 days away from Fangio screwing up the rookie DBs by making them walk and chew gum at the same time!

If he sucks,he SUCKS,but he is our center,so you go right ahead and worry yourself into a tizzy about it because there's not a damn thing you are going to do about it. Kelce was a great C,he is now GONE. As in RETIRED GONE. Keep working yourself up with BS you don't control and bash guys who are now our starters without even having seen one snap played. If JURGENS SUCKS HE SUCKS but he is the CENTER-THAT is REALITY. Kelce had to play his first game sometime too didn't he??????? Did you go into hysterics when Kelce started for us???? And believe me if Jurgens sicks that bad he will be replaced, but keep worrying because the guy we replace Jurgens with could also suck- OMG call the UH OH police

The rookies will be ruined and the C who has been here 2 years can't make calls. The RG starter will suck,it's already been decided. Bark won't have any holes on that side to run though. Hurts will have to carry everyone once again because he is the only player we have. I am totally "unaware" and you "don't know what you're talking about". Ham's word is law. You need to get going on this. We mistakenly live in the real world.
April 30, 20241 yr Author 2011(I believe) Kelce started. In 2012 It was Reynolds who started at C. Then Reynolds went to the Gnats and Kelce was starting again.Feel free to correct me because as everyone knows I am "uneducated" and "unaware",but in my obvious stupidity, lack of awareness, lack of education, and having no clue what I'm talking about, this must have been the 3 year span in which Ham lost his sanity, because my god, we changed centers 3 years in a row and went back to Kelce. IDK how I maintained or controlled myself from falling off the deep end into the abyss 🤣

April 30, 20241 yr Not going to hear that from me, I was for him from the beginning. Is Jurgens going to be an adjustment? Sure. Not written in stone yet as we now have several who are going to vie for C and RG. Jurgens was Kelces' choice when we got him, still is, so I'll trust him - at least for now. We'll see what happens in camp. OTC still has us at 29 mill cap space. By the way, axing Bradberry June 1st only saves us like 4 mill, still on the hook for 11 next yr
