June 7, 20241 yr They are warning players not to wear green to and from the stadium ... or probably when they socialize near there. That's different than the uniform during the game. Going out it may cause a problem in that area. Again...if their rival wears green uniforms...they aren't going to ban green uniforms for the teams during the games.
June 7, 20241 yr Just like there is a difference.. " when the Giants fans talk trash I usually let it go...but occasionally when they get me good ( meaning they don't shut up) then I just tell them we got their best player" Much different than going out of your way to find the Giants fans and talk the trash. Some posters on here like to make something out of nothing...due to boredom or just an unhealthy obsession for the team and or the need for attention... but the reality a lot of times is that these stories are meaningless.

It's an easy google
June 7, 20241 yr Journalists is 2024... one idiot mentions the green...whisper down the lane and all of a sudden no facts and it gets spun into the players aren't allowed to wear green or " talks" of players not wearing green. Until Brian McCarthy spokesman for the NFL comes out with a text denying any talks or suggestion from the NFL to the teams about not wearing green. The funny thing about google...you can find 2000 BS articles with half truths and left field opinions used for drama and clickbait.... and just the one that has the facts / truth.

Brazilians are very clearly ravenous sports fans. Exactly the type people you want to generate a fan base amongst.

You would think that would assure them playing in this game.

Doing some for "show",but really unfair to the teams involved. NFL Europe was a fail, now they will try NFL Latino. neither team gets the home field 12th man advantage

There are fans of teams in every foreign city. It's a good way to educate them to the game and something different than soccer for them. You can read books and explanations, but until you see it live it all falls into place. Should be a great game in a neutral stadium(like many SB's)

It would also ease things up by a day as far as rest. You'd still have time to recover for a following Sunday game, but you get that extra day from Sunday to Friday. I know it's because of Friday HS games, but I feel there is room for both now and they should make the move

I think it’s because Labor Day is at the very beggining of the month this year.

Maybe they have soccer matches on the weekend? IDK the venue schedule, nor do I care. Friday is a better night for working people, especially those that partake at bars on game night. You have all weekend to recover before work on Monday as opposed to having to work Friday 1/2 incoherent
