I’m telling you Rosie and Lurie very likely are looking ahead. Both guys wanted to return for one more season. So they are clearly there next season. You know Rosie didn’t want Bellicheat or Harbaugh. That’s what I’m thinking they concluded on this idea of keeping lame duck Siri. Otherwise they would have forced a hire that wasn’t the right guy. We both should be able to agree the HC they hire will be an O minded coach. So the key was grabbing Fangio and having that D side taken care of. They concentrated clearly drafting for Fangio to build on.

You want to judge Hurts fairly? You keep comparing him to Mahomes. But no way can Hurts or any QB reach that level with Siri. Screwed up firing Pedey. Cost us a second trophy. Why wouldn’t we be all about providing the best O minded coach we can get our hands on? You and FL just target the QB for all problems last season. Haven’t heard either one of you mention or acknowledge the elephant in the room of the coaching. I was willing for Johnson to face some bumps in the road learning on the job first time. But the O came out of TC way too unorganized. Weren’t nearly prepared correctly. Then Johnson being unable to adjust to what DCs were doing to his offense pretty well sealed the deal. He was supposed to have Siri to help and guide him. Neither of them just tried simple adjustments that ordinary fans understand to try.

How long do we wait with this group of guys until we get serious? First two years with Siri at least there was a ceiling he could possibly achieve. But he never did. It was Steichen. Last season was a flat out give up year….and we all know it. Rosie didn’t even try to put together a whole team. Desai everybody understood wasn’t the answer. Hard worker…..but he isn’t the DC to win championships. I believe these guys deserve to hunt that trophy now.

This year is a second in a row year not chasing the ring. Let Fangio build his D. Be real ready to roll and figure out what he needs to put everything together next year moving forward. Clearly Rosie focused on Fangio for the long term thinking here.

32 teams didn't want to pay the stat chaser Reddick...  apparently not popular in the locker room.    Instead of making up TMZ stuff...just pay attention to all the discussions.  Unless it's just " bleacher report rumors that matter"?

Both guys decided to return as Coordinators for one more year. So we couldn’t get them this season. So the plan is next year.

Look at this team. Like I just was stating….why can’t we get an O mind that’s brilliant….or top notch? Why does Hurts have to get by with low grade O systems and coaching? Really it’s our whole O. This just isn’t good enough in my mind. No salary cap on coaches. We gotta do better if we really want to compete for real.

Our O system was embarrassing last season. Moore is an upgrade. But that’s not really saying much.

Why are we settling for anything less than the best O coaching mind we can find? Frankly I demand Lurie and Rosie step up. I was ok with them giving Siri a shot. See what he has. Plus the main thing was he had the right coordinators.

We faced AR in the SB and got owned. Shannahan and the Niners obliterated us. Not because it was just what happened that given Sunday. They totally had the keys to know exactly what we were up to.

Zac Taylor. Miami HC. McVay. Packers coach. All these guys are running circles around us from a basic scheme standpoint.

Rosie wanted Siri because he knew he could be in control over him. He only was looking for a hungry coach that would except the situation here for him to get a shot at running his own team. Pedey proved himself. Not like I’d put him in the top five of O minds. But fired him because he wanted and deserved more control and say ….over football matters. Cowboys do what they do because Jerruh played the game. He isn’t the master math guy. We need football guys making more of football decisions.

That's the plan... so what if we win the Superbowl and our coordinators don't get hired as head coaches...we get rid of them?

Guy gets hired as a head coach on a 4 win team.  QB who runs a read option, very green on big boy QB play.  Year 2 the team gets to the Superbowl and he loses his 2 coordinators and some additional staff that he brought in.  Coach has franchise all time winning record %.  

They promote the QB's family friend to OC year 3.  Disaster at DC.    Now...

If this is another franchise where you don't give a $h@t about TMZ or have an obsession about the QB...just the facts without any emotion involved 

Would you think it smart to give the young successful coach going into year 4,the ability to regroup and pick some other coordinators and fix some other things?

The key here...no emotional involvement.  Not with the QB...no hatred toward the GM...no " i called it"  ..no " Pedey was done wrong by Rosie ... if this was Cleveland... what do you think the right move would be?
