He’s in charge of saying who he needs for exactly what roles. We don’t need to just add players to force on Fangio to try and make work. He needs to build his D with the pieces we have. He clearly got his wishes on getting the young draft picks he wanted. He chose Baun as a FA to be that cheap guy he thinks he can make work.

At this point it’s time to just let Fangio work on building and developing. Let him go to work. By the end of this season he needs to have a good read on all his players and what he can put together with this personnel. So in this offseason he needs to judge what are the final crucial pieces are needed. 

Can’t expect everything to work out perfect in one offseason. But can’t screw around on figuring out what he has …and what are the missing pieces. 

Rebuild and develop while giving as much reps to everybody Fangio can. Use this first season to get all the leg work out if the way. Have his D established with the building blocks he identifies. Rather take some bad hits this season figuring out what each guy can do and if he fits. Year two and going forward we need this D rocking!

Going to take lumps with the whole team learning a new scheme anyway. Things gotta start out fairly basic at first. Fangio gotta have all these players learn what he wants out of them in each scenario. You know each playcall having everybody adjusting and moving reading things his way according to each O that coverage faces. Learn how they deal with any motion and so on.

Got a few key pieces on just one year contracts. So gotta figure out if he needs them as a fit longer term or next year target those positions to invest in.

Sweat,Milton, Baun,Rodgers  and Devin White mostly. Slay won’t be around. He’s just here for this last season. Be that vet mentor to show all these young kids how to be a pro on all levels.

Like in basketball ….is the PG always the leader and the rest the supporting cast? No, it’s the best player that is surrounded by the supporting cast.

In basketball....in football it's the QB and the supporting cast. The whole game is designed around the QB.... protecting him, getting open for him...rushing him, confusing him...etc.

I would say the supporting cast around Hurts and Purdy are the best in the league.

The pitcher and the QB...have a supporting cast.

Rosie had already decided to boot him before this offseason. C’mon you don’t see how Rosie works and moves? He would have worked something out with Reddick last season if he had any plans on making him happy to stay.

Is the best actor always in the leading role?    The leading role on a football team is the QB.   Same with pitcher in baseball.

Neither seemed to fetch anything worthwhile to trade them for. I can see hearing offers. I can even see trading pretty much any player for the right price that is good for our franchise. But we just ate it and gifted the Jets Reddick..

If Reddick was worth the money...he would be an Eagle.   The Eagles are not afraid to overpay for anyone they value.

Cant say I feel confident in us clearly beating any of our first five games opponents. If we are fairly even with half the league…nowhere close to dominating our way to a one seed with 12 wins.

That should tell you something....that Reddick couldn't fetch a decent offer in your mind.... personally I like the day 2 pick for a dude who took a big time dive that my new DC prefers to move on from.

You keep harping on adding a player you can’t even identify for what role or position. Give it up man. If you like to add somebody to help the team in a specific way? Great. But you just throwing out names with zero plan….zero idea how theyl’ll even help our team improve.

I like Burrows. I like Goffs. Browns too. Cowboys got it setup. I see us as the 10…11th best roster. But Purdy so clearly way ahead with his supporting cast. He has Shannahan.
