The guy ignored his smart business decision leverage after 2022 just to try and work things out and remain an Eagles. He didn’t gripe and create a media scandal over him being so obviously underpaid. He never demanded a trade…ever. That was all Rosie’s doing. Reddick just wanted to be an Eagles more than anything. Did whatever was asked of him…to trust in our organization repaying his professionalism and loyalty. Even had Rosie flip the D to Patricia so disgustingly…just all to cover up Rosie’s mistakes. I remember Patricia had the brilliance of having our elite pass rusher drop back into coverage. Reddick’s wasn’t stat chasing and being selfish. He was screwing himself for our team. I saw Reddick drop back in pass coverage. It happened. Terrible Gm-ing and coaching created that…but Reddick the player did what he was told. Factually what actually occurred. On tape even.

We played vs powerhouse O lines the last 2 years?(easy schedule 3 years in a row really). What year did we play many teams with BU QB's or hurt O lines? Maybe his demands were too high to stay?  Maybe he wanted to try something new? Maybe he didn't mesh with the culture? Maybe Fangio didn't want to mess with him at this time? Maybe he didn't fit Fangios schemes? So many factors go into these decisions

Both Reddick and Sweat we both on the blocks very early last year

He’s in charge of saying who he needs for exactly what roles. We don’t need to just add players to force on Fangio to try and make work. He needs to build his D with the pieces we have. He clearly got his wishes on getting the young draft picks he wanted. He chose Baun as a FA to be that cheap guy he thinks he can make work.

At this point it’s time to just let Fangio work on building and developing. Let him go to work. By the end of this season he needs to have a good read on all his players and what he can put together with this personnel. So in this offseason he needs to judge what are the final crucial pieces are needed. 

Can’t expect everything to work out perfect in one offseason. But can’t screw around on figuring out what he has …and what are the missing pieces. 

Rebuild and develop while giving as much reps to everybody Fangio can. Use this first season to get all the leg work out if the way. Have his D established with the building blocks he identifies. Rather take some bad hits this season figuring out what each guy can do and if he fits. Year two and going forward we need this D rocking!

Going to take lumps with the whole team learning a new scheme anyway. Things gotta start out fairly basic at first. Fangio gotta have all these players learn what he wants out of them in each scenario. You know each playcall having everybody adjusting and moving reading things his way according to each O that coverage faces. Learn how they deal with any motion and so on.

Got a few key pieces on just one year contracts. So gotta figure out if he needs them as a fit longer term or next year target those positions to invest in.

Sweat,Milton, Baun,Rodgers  and Devin White mostly. Slay won’t be around. He’s just here for this last season. Be that vet mentor to show all these young kids how to be a pro on all levels.

You need to stop there. He will decide the roles. As a BU it's not the big deal you are making it out to be it's a very MINOR move. He has already played under Fangio in Miami. Waiting on the list of 7(still)
