Is the best actor always in the leading role?    The leading role on a football team is the QB.   Same with pitcher in baseball.

Flacco won the SB with his supporting cast? No. Ray Lewis lead that team. Flacco was just playing his role.

If Reddick was worth the money...he would be an Eagle.   The Eagles are not afraid to overpay for anyone they value.

He’s been our best defender the two years he played for us. What else makes a guy worth the money?

Eagles are totally exactly afraid to overpay anyone. It’s more about Rosie winning the on paper ego wars than putting together a championship team. He butted heads with Ceedy Duce. Wasn’t even that expensive.?But Rosie had to show everybody he won the negotiations. But our team paid the price for it.

That should tell you something....that Reddick couldn't fetch a decent offer in your mind.... personally I like the day 2 pick for a dude who took a big time dive that my new DC prefers to move on from.

No idea what Fangio believes. Rosie screwed up having him coach Reddick to even see how it would have worked.

It’s been very obvious Reddick has always been misunderstood and underrated.

Takes people who can think outside the box. He doesn’t fit that prototype mold.

Bad GM job on the whole way things were played.

You prefer Jalyx Hunt in the second over Reddick? Or you are saying Rosie made a great trade getting a three years from now third rounder for our best defender?

I can totally understand the business side of things. Viewing our team rebuilding in new schemes and not contending right now choosing to not pay and move on from Reddick is understandable. Clear cap. Build off a new young core that can be a foundation for years to come.

Blew the call on coaches. Steichen proved himself as the real O mind. Shouldn’t have let him get away. Fired Siri and promoted Steichen was the tough….but correct call.

View the DC coaching decisions also.

Rosie won’t overpay anybody. He clearly prides himself on working the deals. But this is the point I’ve made several times you guy can’t understand. The GM job is to put together a Championship roster. So get all the best value players you can. But you gotta complete the puzzle. If it means overpaying that last piece? So be it.

That’s the way I view your thinking. All about week one and stats. Very small importance to our franchise bigger picture

Yes, week 1 doesn't matter. If we lose it doesn't go against the overall record which I never knew before. We need to plan 2029 before we win any games in 2024

Neither seemed to fetch anything worthwhile to trade them for. I can see hearing offers. I can even see trading pretty much any player for the right price that is good for our franchise. But we just ate it and gifted the Jets Reddick..

Why didn't the Jets keep Huff? Did they gift him to us?

Yeah I see things as the best player then the rest are considered the supporting cast

So QB #11 has maybe the #1or #2 supporting cast

Cant say I feel confident in us clearly beating any of our first five games opponents. If we are fairly even with half the league…nowhere close to dominating our way to a one seed with 12 wins.

So list the 7 losses

Saleh built him up in a strong D. Really overachieved last season. They weren’t going to pay him that much.

You keep harping on adding a player you can’t even identify for what role or position. Give it up man. If you like to add somebody to help the team in a specific way? Great. But you just throwing out names with zero plan….zero idea how theyl’ll even help our team improve.

He plays DE,I already told you. I haven't seen Fangios scheme, neither have you, therefore there is no need to lock him inbto a position. He could be a BU in Fangios plans. he has played under Fangio,he knows the system and can help the new guys. You get boatloads of experience on the cheap for 1 year yet you keep arguing like hi is the future of the franchise LOL.It's ONE CHEAP addition

Some say we have the 11th best roster. Some are higher on our roster.

Overall QB #11 and the #1 or 2 supporting cast. FIst lst the 7 teams we lose to,then list teams with a better overall supporting cast

Lets add an over 30 year old to be the sixth or lesser option….yeah great plan FL…next

You have no idea where he would fall in the roster.....that is Fangios job not yours....next

I thought he was on the streets still because he wasn’t so cheap. Waiting for injuries so he can find a team to pay him. His last contract was four years at 65 mil.
