Have no idea how selecting bad players against your cap doesn’t effect cap management in your mind.

Again.... with an unlimited amount of cap space in 2011... Andy Reid Chose...  to double down on pass rushers, CBs, WRs, RBs, Vince Young...

And had Omar Gaether, rookie Casey Matthews, a couple other guys we forget... plus 2 rookies Nate Allen ND Kurt Coleman at S....

With the idiotic idea that we start the game with a lead because the defense was " built to play with a lead"

The cap management was excellent.  They had all the space to get any free agent they wanted that year

The player selection was brutal.   2 different things.

Just like now...they manage the cap fine... the holes in the roster are their player selections.  They could have signed Queen... they could have signed or drafted a better 3rd WR.   Still can sign a S.

Same with other teams who have the cap space... these are different things.

That whole pesky leadership stuff of his whole team believing in him that he can and will make whatever needed happen. Such a burden.

Well... you stick your head in the sand and genuflect to Jesus Hurts if you like.  I'll choose another route in thinking the kid who just turned 26 still is continuing to grow as a human being.

But Hurts clearly was frustrated with Siri not having X and O answers. Sure things are always much more rainbows and butterflies when the team is 0-0 instead of suffering a crushing losing streak.

Again.... why are you so defensive about a guy who is reported to improve himself in 2024?

Show me a QB that’s not upset and frustrated when a talented team he has is on a losing streak…and I’ll show you a QB you need to trade.

Again...what does that have to do with Hurts outlook on life in 2024?

Matt Hennessey was supposedly in the early battle for the starting RG spot…with added benefit of versatility of playing C. I don’t think he looks good to make the team right now.

JJ McCarthy has to get surgery on his torn meniscus

CBS added the Packers into their NFC contenders list …along with the Lions and Niners obviously. We aren’t getting nearly as easy a game to start this season as we have in these past few seasons. Really gotta be ready to hit the ground running much more against this Packer team than we did last season against squeezing it out over the Pats.

Think I’m ready to calm the Lions my champion pick this year. They just feel like a team on such a specific mission to win it all. Jameson Williams is going to finally become the big time WR now without injury and suspension in his way. Gibbs has that seasoning to be tasty to light things up. Think they probably shored up the D enough to get it done.

Really comes down to the same thing though…can anyone beat the Niners in the NFC Championship game?

The Bears look really put together. That North division is tough. Frankly think Chicago is as talented as we are.

Tough blow for the rookie. I would think that costs him the whole rookie season.

This is an important D look to understand this season. Feel like Fangio is going to throw a bunch of Cover 6 out there. The outside CB is playing well off with the Over coverage. He has Quarter Over. This coverage does allow the other outside CB to play tight and Q to be in the mix. Strong side WRs gets the two players each with a quarter of the field over. Weak side gets a S having half the field over.

I know I’ve been pumping up Q. He got a free rush on his blitz…everything looked great…but the kid has to finish. I really don’t know if he has much experience blitzing at all. So glad they got him that PS rep.

In his breakdown he noted that he felt Ringo was the star player of our PS game one. This kid is ready to ball. Still room to grow…but he can be special. Just pumped to see what he can do for us!

Bleedinggreennation suggests Ainias hits IR with a phantom injury this season. Sounds like a pretty good idea. He clearly needs the practice time…but don’t think we can afford to get him much anyway even if we kept him on the practice squad. The practice squad we could probably even stash John Ross and Parris Campbell on frankly.

They did the same with Mailata his first year

He had a season ending hangnail or something like that.

I think we are going to see more RBs on kick returns with the new rules.  I don't think we are looking for " dynamic " return as much as it is going to resemble a play from scrimmage.

Why I would like to keep 4 on the roster one on the PS. Swapping out a RB for a WR due to the new rules Bark,Gains,Ship, then 1 other and one on the PS

I'm pretty sure we always keep 4 RBs on the roster....look how much better the group looks now.

Improvement at 1st string.... and anything is better than what you got from 3 and 4 last year.

It was a BAD selection, the money is another issue. if you paid him $5.00 an hour it was STILL a BAD player selection

His leadership clearly lacked with the collapse. Easy to be a leader when things are going well, not hard at all. The "I need to do better-cliche on a loop" gets old after awhile. Yes, we know you need to do better. When he dropped the ball in the SB there was no need to say "I need to do better" yes we know. When he took the JV sack at TB he didn;t need to say "I need to do better" yes we know. Now go out and DO BETTER so we don't need to hear that again. Now we get to see if those 2 mistakes have been corrected. i believe they have, but it doesn't matter what I believe,it matters how he performs. You got the big money you wanted, now play like it

They need to put alot more together than we do. Same things were said when Fields was had and they failed to do it then too. Talent is no good if you can't use it. I still have a man crush on DJ Moore. Going to be tough sledding for him with yet another rook

So your "choosing" the 3 top contenders? Pick one and stake your claim LOL. I think one of the 30 players I mention on my mocks will get drafted in round 1 😁
