Zero. It's how they perform in the last pre

After meaning…ughh after todays practice by final roster cut down day?

Not really... the guys play this last game for tape so other teams can see them.   We don't need anyone that's already making the team play.

This is pretty much what I was thinking also. Believe the roster is pretty well set now. Just a matter of precisely labeling out the 53. That last player on the roster being like Patrick Johnson. Having a great summer. He’s very good on ST so he can actually suit up on gamedays.

IDK that you want to expose an inexperienced kid who has to "cram for the exam". I know he is eager to play, but putting yourself into a position vs other guys fighting for a spot could mean they do bad things to him. IDK what they will do,but he's not ready for prime time. I'm sure he is soaking in vid knowledge and working with the coaches, but it's about his physicals

Because he’s inexperienced is exactly why I think he could use a bit of exposure

Again... you are looking at it from a perspective of an a fan that wants to be in the know.

You have to stop looking at preseason games as what will make the difference.  The guys that make the team will continue to battle each other all season in practice etc.

You play the guys that won't make the team to showcase themselves for the rest of the league and protect your real guys.

That's how the whole league does it.

I agree for this third PS game

At another injury risk?

Like why did we cut Uzomah(sp) instead of letting him "showcase" his talent for other teams. Because he had no chance here

Because we needed to bring in a G to play in this most meaningless third PS game…because we have so many injuries to contend with.

Is the guy that fragile? He needs to get his feet wet some time

The thinking would be to have two WR on the PS to call up. Like possibly Ross, Parris, Ngata or Ainias

Booker, PJ Musitipher and Tuipulotu we might only keep one of. Gabe Hall is out.

We always keep 4 RBs. So only keeping three would be a surprise. Especially since we have such good competition there this season. We can actually keep a quality fourth…for a change,

Right, I'm fine playing guys that have a shot. They should know who has zero chance and get them off the roster now. Like WR's who never play,3 RB's etc. Cut a few now, maybe that loosens up another teams cut we could use on our own PS

Almost by definition the guys you are referring to would be the least likely to be coveted by the other teams.

I suppose, but then we have to move fast to snap up and guys we want on the PS. Just saying a few can be cut now,not ALL of them LOL

Right.. you have to move fast after all the cuts are made.  They will play the last preseason games.... they watch film from around the league.... then all the teams make their cuts.   It's also a a few days where teams can talk to make trades before the cuts.

Making cuts now just shows your hand,no reason to do it at all.  Just be patient with the process.

We could probably stash LeRaven Clark, Sidney Brown, Cadens, Tyler Hall and Ainias on IR

Maybe the RB we cut gets snagged by another team and they drop a LB we would want on our own PS.

Absolutely... could easily happen next week after cuts are made around the league

Signed C/G Jason Poe

That's why we cut the TE....probably to get Poe to play in the final preseason game while the injured guys heal up

Introducing an actual O scheme with an actual plan in place….should be good for all.

Agreed.... we can agree the childhood friend didn't get the job done.   Replacing him with another competent OC....since Lurie knows that formula works... seems obvious as being their. Master plan "

The Bengals were slamming the Colts for not giving a quality joint practice.

Siri couldn’t get the job done. He was stripped of those responsibilities. Hired an OC to completely bring in his own O and completely takeover the O. Master plan was scapegoat Coordinators to distract blame from Siri and especially Rosie.

Not sure what the formula that Lurie knows works would be described as?
