You are the one caught up on labels. I just believe in coaches utilizing whatever skills and talents their players have….bringing in players with talents the team is missing.

SO, who gets that coveted "specialist" label? Gotta be a huge honor for you to hand out, because the team doesn't do it. And we need to hear who gets that coveted "offensive genius" award as well. But I'm caught up in labels LMAO. Ridiculous and comical

It’s about what talents do each player individually possess. What can they bring to the table…and how can a coach utilize each skill that player has. All WR aren’t the same. Some are physical. Some are fast. Some excellent route runners. Just so many details involved. But the plays I’m talking about needing to be added we need plays that can create with the ball in their hands. That’s what our FO clearly made efforts to target. Brought in several of these potential options. On a team that didn’t have many.

And none are labeled "specialists" are they? NONE. They are people, with talent, and skill sets and ZERO ZERO ZERO carry the LABEL of "specialist" But I get it,you can't man up and admit you are wrong.. So your opening line states what I have been saying and you refuse to admit that it's talent and not some stupid label you place on them. Discussion over

GB, made 6 cuts to my dynasty squad... Washington D, Brandon McManus, James Robinson, Noah Fant, Xavier Hutchinson ( WR Hou) and Sean Tucker ( TB RB)

So i will draft 6 new guys.  My cousin's son likes this kicker Detroit drafted, so I'm going to target him with one of the picks to go with McPherson as my two kickers.  Two young studs and forget about that position for a while. That's probably not until pick 30.

At pick 10 it looks like the Washington QB or the WR from the Chargers will be the best value. All a crapshoot with the rookies.

Yeah nice cuts. IDK that you will do any worse with the rooks, but you dropped the right ones. I'm still pretty euphoric that I got Puka off the freakin waiver wire LOL I had to drop Corum( RB Michigan) for him,but that's a kid you should look for also(Rams and the heir apparent who should get touches this year)

You just repeated everything I said earlier then proceeded to argued with me. EVERY play(other than kicking plays) should be about creating space. No one at any skill position is going to succeed with a guy hanging on his back or staring him in the face. So that's not specialization. It's executing the plays called, which I keep saying and you keep arguing about.Anyway we disagree so whatever

You are the one that keeps pointing out how we can’t have a guy contribute in ways just because he doesn’t fit the label on some depth chart.

I don’t care about the label. Players all specialize in certain areas. That’s what we need the coaches to sort out and get out of each of our guys.

On YAC Creation plays the player himself isn’t charged with creating space. That’s schemed into it. As well as blocking perhaps on many setup for him. But he needs to read and utilize that blocking properly to maximize the YAC.

I don’t think it’s we disagree at all. It’s more you just being hard headed to argue against and not actually considering what I’m talking about. You keep bringing up the factors I repeatedly keep specifically saying is not what I’m talking about.

I just said there’s all these different things I’m NOT talking about. But I AM talking about :

Yep Payton Wilson has been looking good already in Pittsburgh. A rookie LB looking good early for the Steelers means he’d be looking unbelievable for us. We’d be nonstop gushing over having this kid in the middle of our D. But it’s not just that we lost the trade….oh no..,doesn’t end there. Rosie can’t be made to look bad. So Pickett MUST remain number 2 QB. If he got demoted or just flat out booted off the team… that would make sure everybody thought just like this article is saying. And we know Rosie can’t have that. His huge ego will force Pickett to be our number two QB for the next two years. Rosie will make sure his underlings(Siri and company) will back Pickett up all along the way.

Nothing like your star pass rusher holding his own against a backup TE

Better if he fell down crying like a little girl, like Hurts?

Sadly, you are correct and the donuts will be stale by then. I knew a year ago that McKee was showing me glimmers. Not much to see since we never see them play much. Really would love to put this guy in the with 1's after a few practices and see how he does. More decisive than your god. I'm not convinced either you can relegate him to the BU role for life, because I have zero clue what his upside COULD be if he played with the caliber players we have right now. Grier is as good as Kenny for the 3 spot without paying squat. Not every move Howie makes is good. He is still human, but even as the news broke I said I was not a fan of this trade. Trotter looks like a much better bargain

Yes it's called talent

Just now, GreenbleedinNC said:

That talent doesn’t necessarily translate all in to the labels you need ..such as Slot WR. We have AJ and Smitty that can attack downfield. What we’ve been missing is that effective counter to keep Ds honest or off balance. Things should really be open for some of these YAC Creation plays. With each one we do damage it just will begin to take a bit off our main two weapons in the passing game. Think we will add in more passing to the RB for some of this. Get real ready for some Wheel route success!

Yeah I said that too LOL

I’d love a guy that could takeover all the responsibilities and handle the full role of Slot WR. We need that too.

I’ve said all along you’ve clearly seen these group of plays I’m talking about thousand times. Not sure why you wouldn’t get it.

Didn't see any specialists just guys with talent to make plays. Then you argued when I said the O line was responsible for YAC plays behind the line, then you said the same thing like it was something new LOL. I'm done talking about this..............moving on..................
