You always talk about rushing guys back, but now it's fine? Especially with a rookie who is learning? Our are RG's all "fragile"? Apparently they are

We can actually keep a quality fourth…for a change, We never had an effective RB3 like we do now is why we kept 4.I'd rather have 3 RB's and 5 WR's . If one RB goes down we still have 2 RB's that can play and finish the game at hand before you call one up. I'm not as confident at WR at this point.

August 21, 20242 yr Author Too many injuries nowadays. The 85 Bears defense would play on broken legs. No more "tough guys" left. We actually should bring back Chips smoothie regimen Why do we get more injuries than other teams? It's a problem

He has some quality ammo to pull some things off. He can start by making up for his Bradberry decisions and get us a fifth round pick back for him. Trade for what? Who can fly here and learn the playbook and become acclimated by week 1? Why are we having multiple injuries AGAIN???? Perhaps SOMEONE needs to go through the practice routines and figure out WHY? It's astonishing we have these injury bugs almost every year. Then when everyone gets on the same page we collapse the last 6 games of the year

I mean if you wanted to trade Pickett for a top shelf one I would be all for that That’s all bringing in this G solved…was a body for this last PS game. Least important of all the PS games. But DeJean looks to get some snaps finally. So that’s about the only reason for me to consider tuning into this one. Which I probably won’t anyway. I’m sure somebody will post a little breakdown of him in his first PS game anyway…,since he’s been hyped pretty big time.

His best attribute even you seem to give him is the hiring of Moore. Which is laughably see through situation. Clearly our FO brought in their backup for the HC job they have Siri. But you some how are saying the guy the FO interviewed for the HC job…wasn’t their hire….but Siri’s. Even after I pointed out how Siri had a presser discussing how it was important for him to be able to retain a couple of his guys on staff …instead of all becoming Moore’s guys. Yet your option stating Moore supposedly is Siri’s guy, You slurp up way too much of this so obvious pathetic deception. Siri is so bad he led us to a 10-1 start last year?. Howie also got smarter and has had good drafts lately after the Reagor debacle and is finally providing talent. Schwartz always got barrel bottom CHEAP players and he had to make something from nothing. Now we have talent on both sides of the ball and it's time to give Lurie the Lombardi. But no,now we can use the injury excuses again(because they are there AGAIN)

He has to relearn our play calls, get in some form of game shape just to be cut a week from now in a pointless game that doesn't matter in the seasons W/L except either way he can be used as a scapegoat after the game for guys who don't make the cut. put in a scrub we already have

He didn’t break his leg…just pulled a hammy…missed all of camp. Rookie hasn’t done squat yet. So he does need this some. But he does have some durability question marks. But he’s the fifth CB. Not killing us if he gets injured again depth wise. Seems fairly clear the pecking order is Slay, Q, Rodgers, Ringo then DeJean. We might not have much luxuries to just get him on the field…for seasoning purposes once the real games are under way,

I think these guys have earned an opportunity to lay down some film to help their careers. All these guys just fighting for any place in the NFL. They put in all this hard work all year round and for us specifically this summer. But yeah last PS game isn’t much point of a whole lot.

Just looking at the timing …he should be ready.

That’s a starting position. So depth is far from on the roster. But start the season calling up from the PS. Then after all eligible call ups are used up then you cross that bridge. My thoughts have very consistently been need to add a quality third WR.

For many reasons…one of which being that fourth wasn’t anybody special anyway. But this year we actually have a quality option to keep as that fourth RB. A guy worth rostering. These WRs aren’t really worth rostering. Basically your logic seems to be based on the WR suck…so we need to keep the extra guy there…instead of keeping the RB that doesn’t suck. Which player will get poached? Which player is more easily replaced?

A guy that can’t run…just can’t be on the field as much as he could decades ago. He’s more of a liability these days. You have 300 pounders that can run faster than LBs could back then. So much more of a passing league now versus then.
