August 21, 20242 yr We have a few players we will stash on IR. But I think you have to cut down to 53 with them on the team first. Then you can place them on IR. So they can be activated after four games potentially. S Sterns is a prime example of this. Think we have a couple of other guys we’ll have this plan for.

They should know who has zero chance and get them off the roster now. Like WR's who never play,3 RB's etc. Cut a few now,maybe that loosens up another teams cut we could use on our own PS

You have to stop looking at preseason games as what will make the difference. The guys that make the team will continue to battle each other all season in practice etc. You play the guys that won't make the team to showcase themselves for the rest of the league and protect your real guys. That's how the whole league does it.
