He obviously was a huge upgrade over Gainwell. That’s not even in question.

Shipley should be in front of Gainwell quickly if Siri gets out of the way. Have two quality other RBs I believe could compliment our RB room better than Gainwell this season also. Kendall Milton that pure rusher I give the edge too from Georgia.

Always liked Gainwell

Same possible reason been the whole time since Gainwell was drafted….he’s Siri’s boy. Over and over and over again…it’s shown.

yeah... 4 carries per game.. just so much love for Gainwell here

Gainwell will always be able to tell his grandkids about the 100 yards he posted in that fourth quarter playoff blowout of the giants.

All love here... no sarcasm at all

Shipley is more explosive and dynamic than Gainwell. Just a matter of time until Shipley starts gaining more touches than Gainwell.

All love

We need Barkley, Shipley and Milton I think. Milton is the ideal compliment hard runner.

We brought in RB competition this season…if you paid any attention to depth on the roster

This aged well... Must pay attention and believe everything they say in the presser ... in April

Exactly what most GMs and coaches think. Don’t want to put too much on a rookie’s plate. Want him to be trained and develop excellent fundamentals without bad habits at his main position first. This was the plan…but clearly short term team need trumps everything.

I like Will Shipley and Kendall Milton. Have you seen these guys play? They look strong. Milton brings that excellent complimentary role of being a strong physical runner.

That’s fact about our new draft pick RB. Shipley has some explosive dynamic traits.

I prefer to only keep three RBs on the roster like I’ve stated several times. So wouldn’t it maybe be best to have that different RB style to compliment?

You just always trolling. What do you see out of our depth at RB other than Saquan and Shipley? Or are you just here to troll others thoughts? Go ahead and break down each of our depth RB options here before cutdown day and give your opinion on what value each has and which should be kept and for what roles.
Or you could just wait until after and claim Rosie’s brilliant for these moves…then develop a theory why after….like usual.

After all that what did I come out and say after Gainwell had his best practice to end camp? I stated I thought Gainwell earned the backup job this year.

We drafted one late round pick.... who else was an investment in the RB position that was extra or more than the usual?

But the undrafted guy is going to take his place.... you said so confidently all offseason.... but you always liked Gainwell...lol

The undrafted RB brings a different qualities to the table. Is that anything you can understand? That maybe all the backups shouldn’t be similar. Shipley has some explosive dynamic qualities and is very good catching out of the backfield. Milton is more the hard charging physical pure rusher.

Just something I do all the time. I tell things like I see them going into everything ahead of time. Then watch observe and adjust accordingly. You just are wrong only in hindsight. I have no problem putting myself out there scouting things from the get go. You just are looking to troll anything and everything around here instead.

OK.... the obvious that we all know and knew from the start.  Gainwell was not going anywhere... he is your #2 RB.  You have been in denial about this for years now.   Shipley will be here for 4 years as well... that's the cheap RB option that the Eagles will keep locked in for 4 years.   Eventually we will end up bringing a guy in to get locked in for 4 years during Shipley's last year, maybe even sooner if Barkley just plays the 3 years here.

Your hatred for Gainwell's 4 carries per game has been well documented.   He had one game of any significant touches, which was the 1st game of " the oft injured RB Swift"  (your quotes from last year about Swift) ... in that game we marched right down the field on those 2 drives Gainwell was used for 10 touches... out of his 18 for the game.  Ironically, when we stopped getting him the ball, after he got dinged... the offense stalled for the rest of the game and never got in the endzone

But you keep harping and harping and harping on ONE F#$%ing game ...just like years and years of Ziggy over Lane crap.  One game ... while Swift was getting his feet wet... that they won... then he still managed below 4 carries per game the rest of the season but averaged over 4.6 yards.

His touches were irrelevant... he had to play key snaps due to the incompetence of Sanders and Swift in pass protection or durability.  Not his fault.  What was missing was a legit 3rd option behind him last year. Not his fault.

But don't insult our intelligence when you have never said you liked him... and constantly belittled him or insulted him with the idea that undrafted guys are going to take his job!

Even when the reports have been all offseason how good he looks... you finally acknowledged after Hurts was gushing over his training camp that he was the backup.   You couldn't argue with your boy.

The undrafted rookies every year bring those qualities....

After Hurts said it.... very coincidental.

So weak  the Democrats tried to suck people into actually watching by lying with rumors of Beyoncé was going to be there tonight. They just have an army of influencers and media people.

You were looking forward to Barkley, Shipley and Milton.... " looking forward to it"  You don't want Gainwell on the team... at least if you stuck to it, like I said with Sanders all along we could respect you.  But instead you make up stuff like I want him to start ..when clearly I stated the reporters ... your  boy Roob specifically said that.

What do they bring? Which ones? Why don’t you actually try and look and educate yourself about them? Like your trolling me just because I’m very involved paying attention to all these guys we have involved with our team.

Very flexible with trying to pigeon hole your boy Q on the outside.... and the fact that " master plan " needs to be 100% executed in March doesn't show flexibility at all.

Why don’t you look into any of these players trying to make our team and actually attempt for once to educate and form an opinion yourself instead of trolling me over my dedication and interest in the Eagles players attempting to make our team become something now and in the future?

Never  said master plan has to be executed in March. Shows how little you even comprehend the whole concept.
