I agree with Ham...take emotion out of it, and really there are 3 Dallas guys that matter. Lamb who should go early, but if you take Hill, Jefferson or another top WR, no big deal. Dak is a lower half starting QB,you can take another similar one.... and their TE is a decent play...plenty if guys there too. I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid them though. But this particular year it probably won't kill you. Fill your starting roster before worrying too much about backups... and really I wouldn't worry about bye weeks too much with RB or WR..if you have too many one week, that means you end up with advantages the others... but.... definitely don't draft a backup QB, TE, K or Defense with same bye week. Can you trade guys? What happens if a dude tears an ACL…season over? You’re just stuck with him for no points every week?

Like your trolling me just because I’m very involved paying attention to all these guys we have involved with our team. look forward to Shipley and Milton.... watch out Gainwell... Milton is coming ... it's automatic that Shipley the rookie was the #2 from day one. LOL

I agree... these players are trying to make the team... Gainwell already had his spot... which the whole world knew. One more year then he will be on another team. Then you can celebrate.

Usually you start 1 QB, 2RBs , 2WRs, 1TE, K and a D. Many leagues add one flex player a WR or RB spot on your starting roster each week,

How did you realize he had the #2 locked from watching him a few preseason carries? Are you watching practice... if so, why didn't you bring it up all along like the other reporters?

LOL I still think things could be headed that way. Milton I liked as a undrafted pickup. I like Shipley as a draft pick. But our team may prefer to keep one of the other RBs in competition. Been a good strong competition this summer at RB. You missed out.

If your guy gets hurt... then you can put him on the bench or drop him if it's more serious. You have a bench... so you have to put in a starting lineup each week.

I’ve stated I like him as the third string..in the past. Think he’s well rounded and does everything well. But hasn’t shown much burst or explosion…hasn’t brought much dynamic playmaking ability. I like Shipley. Think he has more burst and better playmaker. But year four Gainwell is playing his best ball and held off the strong challenger. I give him props. He’s earned the backup role right now.

Yes...its Gainwells fairwell season here.... its absolutely heading that way. I think shipley will end up getting more touches by the end of the season... a 3rd RB should get the garbage time carries and or be fresh to pound the ball. Gainwell will probably get more snaps... but not touches. I have no issue with that. We could have used 5 carries from RB3 last year... unfortunately Scott and Penny weren't worthy

I thought i draft A team and they all play every week. So much to learn. What position do I draft first? The main guy said you don’t get points for every catch…whatever that means. So QB is the key? Draft Mahomes and you win?

I like our draft pick and a couple of these other guys we brought in camp though Cook. I’m not big on keeping 4 RBs like we’ve been doing. So being high on Shipley…very similar to Gainwell with a higher ceiling…thought if only keeping three a different complimentary hard physical rusher like Milton undrafted from Georgia might be wiser. Shipley being very good receiving RB. Just trying to pair together a complete roster having in mind you only get 53 spots. 3 RBs makes more sense to me usually. But we always keep 4. This year that 4th will be of much higher quality than just the deadweight.

I mean... he was under contract for cheap for 4 years... every year you said he was going to lose his spot... you don't like him as #3... because you are thinking guys that are roster bubble guys are going to beat him out.... right now he is clearly #2. Which was obviously going to be the case being the other guys are rookies. If anything... Gainwell would be traded if they felt the other guys were worthy.. simply because he is only under team control this year. He wasn't going to get cut as the clear #2 at the start. For an all in team, probably won't get traded either.

August 24, 20242 yr Wow Gainwell was under contract for cheap. Is he cheaper than Shipley? For more years? Is he cheaper than these others undrafted? They’re all cheap!
August 24, 20242 yr I dont watch college football beyond Boise State…hometown team my nephews love…so who are good fantasy rookies that nobody knows about? or other sleeper picks for my fantasy draft?
August 24, 20242 yr Thing is I came out after Gainwell had his best practice to finish camp and stated he earned the backup RB role right now. Good for him. Competition can be good. So just keep trolling me. I have him credit when he earned it. He finally earned it. Now keep it up.
