Ohhh. That makes more sense. I thought i draft A team and they all play every week. So much to learn. What position do I draft first? The main guy said you don’t get points for every catch…whatever that means. So QB is the key? Draft Mahomes and you win?

Nah... draft guys you think get stats.  As Ham was saying look into your settings and see the scoring system.   Lots of leagues are PPR  ... point per reception ... meaning for every catch your guy gets a point.  (thats WR, TE or RB)  seems like your league is not.  A lot of leagues now are going to " half a point per reception"   so a catch would equal 0.5 points.  Or maybe your league doesn't give anything for a reception... that's called a " standard" league.  Those leagues the RBs have more value.

The top RB is more rare these days with more teams splitting carries or rotating RBs... more common to find WRs that score high.   So that along with not being a PPR league probably should make you lean towards making sure you get a RB with one of your first two picks.  maybe both depending on who is the BPA.   If you are drafting online you can see who they have ranked.  It's a good guide but you can still have your favorites.

Key things to look at

1. How many yards rushing   .... receiving   or passing equal a point.

2.  your Qb usually is your highest scorer... but doesn't mean you need to draft one first.

I dont watch college football beyond Boise State…hometown team my nephews love…so who are good fantasy rookies that nobody knows about?

or other sleeper picks for my fantasy draft?

There are ranking charts all over the web. I’d browse around some of those if I was you. Just get yourself familiar. Then whichever site you are using…Yahoo did you say…they’ll have their rankings up for you to utilize during the draft.

Sermon was a wasted roster spot in my opinion but he was on the practice squad most of the year I thought.

So was Scott really

Engram the old giants TE looked to have an excellent connection scoring a couple times with Lawrence in their last PS game. Cowboys Fergusen good value TE. Goedert good value even.

Here is the latest cheat sheet page from ESPN... you find your type of league scoring and look at it.   A decent guide

Thing is I came out after Gainwell had his best practice to finish camp and stated he earned the backup RB role right now. Good for him. Competition can be good. So just keep trolling me. I have him credit when he earned it. He finally earned it. Now keep it up.

You saw the practice?  Who said he had his best practice to where it was 100% fact and not opinion?

He is playing for the contract next year... not to make the roster over rookies.

I just was looking at potential value of having that pure rusher on the 53. Obviously an undrafted player is an underdog. But these guys can play. Well keep 4 so it probably won’t matter much anyway hypothetically considering only keeping three.

Usually there are bonus for 100 yard games. Obviously scoring TDs is big.

You don’t even know who is competition  is or been watching or paying attention to what has been going on.

You seen the Chiefs undrafted RB this PS? Of course not. Dude running over people stiff arming..just terrorizing. Somebody thought they would make the team probably isn’t because of this undrafted rookie.

What about Bradberry? You think he makes our team? Or an undrafted player? You know a guy like ughhh Blankenship? Paris Campbell wasn’t looking to beat out any rookies either right?

Are we going to get our astronauts out of space? They’ve been stuck up there since June

This aged well... Must pay attention and believe everything they say in the presser ... in April

Bogged down learning something new LOL I'm sure he is already RUINED and will never play outside. We should just cut him 🤣

Very flexible with trying to pigeon hole your boy Q on the outside.... and the fact that " master plan " needs to be 100% executed in March doesn't show flexibility at all.

I think he enjoys learning something different. he was cocky at first. Putting him in the slot he found jesus because he has to actually learn something he never had to do. The cocky wemt away because it's harder do. But he is now ruined and we need to trade him before he gets married because after that he can't play

Cunningham, why don’t you like Gainwell? Runs hard. Picks up blitzes well. Doesn’t fumble. Well rounded back.

Pass catcher also

I like our draft pick and a couple of these other guys we brought in camp though Cook. I’m not big on keeping 4 RBs like we’ve been doing. So being high on Shipley…very similar to Gainwell with a higher ceiling…thought if only keeping three a different complimentary hard physical rusher like Milton undrafted from Georgia might be wiser. Shipley being very good receiving RB. Just trying to pair together a complete roster having in mind you only get 53 spots. 3 RBs makes more sense to me usually. But we always keep 4. This year that 4th will be of much higher quality than just the deadweight.

Tricky. Should keep 4 IF you don't want Milton snatched off the PS. I think you can special designate 2 of those?.HUGE HUGE week for Asmith. How he plays vs the Vikes -could roster him or send him packing. He is on the bubble. With Dotson in that fixed that spot we wanted fixed. So if he plays a solid game and looks the part he can stay. I really like the kid we need to see the juice now. I hope they work him alot to make an informed decision

Did Gainwell play after first series of first preseason game?  He was the #2 from jump.  There was never a doubt he was going to be on the roster...only from you.   Because you, as you admit... March to the beat of your own drummer.   The other guys were competing to make the roster...while Shipley is working to solidify #3 and earn snaps.  Barkley is the 1st string and Gainwell is #2.  That's how it's  been from day 1.

You can imagine all you want using your creativity... doesn't change the obvious.  But feel free to find one media post or podcast or anything showing Gainwell was in danger of  being cut.

The Chiefs don't have their #2 from last year McKinnon.... so who was expected...or obviously going to make the roster besides Pacheco?

Gainwell was an established player at his position.  Paris Campbell was not. Bradberry messed up royally last year...Gainwell has been solid from jump.   4 carries for 18 yards a game as a backup who as you say...can do a little of everything.   That's exactly what you want from a backup ...solid at everything.

Because only you. .obsess about one game where he started off hot... because only you have wanted him gone...because only you have egg on your face calling Miles Sanders a " special talent " ... only you think he was ever in danger of losing a roster spot until his cheap contract runs out.

It's only you... get it.

" I want more explosiveness from a backup RB"   as you say...

Yeah...an " explosive play specialist"  ..that's great as a #3 RB...change of pace guy...who touches the ball at a good ratio of his snaps.   The #2 guy needs to be able to keep the entire offense functional.  Know the plays, the protection,  the routes etc.  That's exactly what we know we have with Gainwell. You think a new OC is going to bring in an undrafted rookie to pass block on a random play and risk F###king up the play or worse get someone hurt?

Why.... because I just can't get over game 1 of last year???  Lol.

Ganwell is not a " Siri guy" ...he is an Eagles guy....for one more year.

A coach's guy isn't only going to get 4 carries a game.
