SO if you are on the PS and get elevated you are ON the roster, even if it's only that game. They can choose to move you from the roster BACK to the PS,but you have to be on the 53 to play

Not correct

Great QB decision and throw…bad WR route. Should have been a TD.

Bad decision

When elevated the PS player is on the 53 for that day

Not how it works...the game day roster is not a 53.   53 guys aren't eligible to play in the game.   The 53 is supposed to be the pool of players that you choose from to put on the game day roster.

They also enable you to choose to put 2 guys from the PS on the game day...but you don't have to.   I think it's 48 players that can be activated and play in the game?  You either get all 48 from the 53... or 47 from 53 and 1 from PS... or 46 from the 53 and 2 from PS.

But the guys from the PS don't go on the 53 if they play... they remain on the PS and can be claimed by another team after the game.

Campbell most likely will be elevated to the 53 now....what that means is they will have to release him later if they get all the other guys back...then he will have to clear waivers to be put back on the PS.

Keep trying to explain the Gameday roster is different than the 53 Man roster

But you don't explain things in detail.  You do it in your obnoxious argumentative way.   He obviously wasn't getting the concept.. why not explain once thoroughly instead of being ...well yourself?

Apparently teams can have 48 active on game day as long as 8 are OL. Otherwise they can only have 47 active if they have 7 or less OL.

Real high completion percentage…but he also made the point of how he threw the ball away when really needed to. Smitty messed up the route on what should have been a TD…but goes down as an interception instead. Gainwell messed up on the missed communication on one incompletion. Two drops. Threw the ball away a few times which were smart plays on QB1 part. He was 29 of 38.

Best game of the season so far.... that's not saying much.

He had a fine game except for the turnovers Hurts is 2nd in the NFL in turnovers this season behind only Will Levis…. All the excuses in the world you want to give him aren’t justification for the sheer amount of turnovers he has over the last season and a quarter

Ham could explain every one....and point out how it wasn't Hurts fault.  Of course you can say that about every other QB.

That's the QB'S job to avoid the turnover when things do go as planned.

Gordert bailed out Hurts with that one handed catch.  We also saw a couple of backups make a catch and then get the first down all on their own.  Hurts gets credit for that yardage... but would have been three punts if not for those plays.

I'm ok with the QB getting stats because the easy play is there. It's why I don't like these throws into traffic that take points away...especially when he could throw it away on early downs.

The interception I don’t see as on him. The fumble I absolutely do. The second interception against the Falcons I see as definitely on him…too risky. The fumble by the bad early snap …was on Beef Jurgey. Just calling them like I see them. But stats wise they all attributed to Hurts. Is what it is.

Stoll was promoted to the 53 instead taking Covey’s spot(placed on IR)

Ross brought back on the PS

Talking about AJ coming back this game. Just don’t get it. We have the bye week 5. He should have no problems coming back and being full go after that. A pretty large risk to force him back out of need this week. Hoping it’s just a bad rumor.

The Stoll stuff hasn’t made much sense to me. Don’t know why we just chose to not bring back our second string TE. We got fortunate that we got him back. Calcattarra just got lit up on at least two of his blocks this past game. Should see an uptick in two TE sets.

We got fortunate Stoll wasn't good enough to make the Giants?

You don’t expose facts all you do is come on here and defend Hurts for every turnover…. It was a bad route by Smith yes it was equally a terrible decision by Hurts was zero reason to risk that throw

1st qtr. only down by 3 no need to risk a throw it’s that simple if it wasn’t there throw it out the back of the EZ and take the 3 points

2nd in the NFL in turnovers pretty sure Hurts is first in turnovers over the last year and a qtr. how long are we going to keep making excuses for them.

What does Hurts have now 29 turnovers going back to last season there isn’t enough excuses for that many.

Its a massive problem this team has to resolve and it has to start with Hurts

"Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are struggling once again in Week 3, with the quarterback throwing an interception and losing a fumble in the first half against the New Orleans Saints. Those two turnovers bring his total to 26 since the start of last season, which leads the NFL.”

26 turnovers wanted to get the correct number LEADS the NFL since last season not enough excuses to justify this problem

Can already hear the excuse train coming from you oh well Hurts doesn’t have his top WR option he has to throw to backups Johnny Wilson, Dotson.

Image having to be a QB throwing to scrubs like Wentz throwing for 4k without a WR going over 500 yards or Mcnabb with Pinkerton and company

I still think the DB makes the play, regardless if the route was run differently...he was sitting there waiting.  The view from behind the QB shows it well.   That's the X factor that all these experts miss.   The route wasn't going to work from the beginning, regardless of expectations of Smith making a ridiculous 90 degree cut at full speed like a video game.

Didn’t like the play call regardless and probably Smith isn’t a big guy he isn’t going to shield the ball like a AJ Brown. Another reason I think Hurts just needed to toss it away out the back of the EZ

I like the play call...Smith took out 3 defenders... the issue is the QB choosing where to throw.

This is my issue... does the playcalling need to be where the first read needs to be there EVERY TIME with Hurts?   If so, then he isn't anywhere close to an elite QB. That's just not realistic.

I’m not trying to defend Hurts but I’ll say this… the fine line of being an NFL QB was on show between Monday and Sunday. On Monday Hurts throws a TD pass to Smitty in double / triple coverage and they get the plaudits. On Sunday in one v one it’s an INT.

Don’t like the idea of Smith trying to be that bigger WR which Olsen during the game and view others talked about wanting him to be in the spot box out the DB and secure the catch hence why I stated not a fan of the play call.

Also why I stated didn’t like the decision from Hurts as well and shouldn’t have made the throw.  If there was another guy open makes it even worse that he didn’t go through the progression he opted to throw a bad ball to smith

The line is really narrow being to aggressive v not aggressive enough but think it comes down to situations and being aware of them.

1st qtr. down by 3 do we really have to be that aggressive and risk a turnover?

Oh I’m absolutely with you bud! I’ve killed Jalen for these turnovers and it has to stop. Whether he can or not is another matter but he simply has to be smarter.
