But I’m perfectly fine with having a stud RB …especially behind our especially strong run blocking Oline. Works for me. I never said either way. We didn't pay much for Barkley. I also said in a "passing league" so far it's the RB's who are holding teams together

That pick would not happen if that was AJ,but you can't treat them 'the same Pick shouldn’t have happened with Smitty either. Bad sloppy cut. But he’s made so many other fantastic plays this season. I’m not killing him over one mistake. Having a fantastic season. Sucks he got taken out before the refs didn’t do their job. He shouldn’t play this week….for sure..IMO

September 25, 20242 yr Jalen Hurts completed 76.7 percent of his passes vs. the Falcons and 76.3 percent in New Orleans. He’s the first quarterback in Eagles history to complete at least 75 percent of his passes in consecutive regular-season games

On Monday Hurts throws a TD pass to Smitty in double / triple coverage and they get the plaudits. On Sunday in one v one it’s an INT. It was 3 defenders near the ball.

I want you to go to a football field... start on the 15 yard line...sprint full speed to where you fake a cut to the right ... as you step on the goal line...see how horizontal you can cut. It's not a video game... Smith has to physically make that 90 degree cut between two defenders. The safety is already inside ...waiting. just bad decision, the real football plays aren't run vs air... the QB need to read the defense there. The safety in the end zone isn't going to be playing anything behind him... it's different than if in the middle of the field.

Rookie Wilson playing with an injured hamstring. Covey going down injured early in the game on his first catch. Then Smitty getting injured also. Still pulled out the victory, Still better than the 2020 team Wentz had to deal with. Or the 2019 team.
September 25, 20242 yr 4 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: That’s how football works. The WR’s job is to cut in the face of that S sitting there. That's not how the human body works .. 90 degree turns at full speed... not a video game.
