Why are we going back to last season anyway?

You were the one talking before the season started about last season being something on their minds and having to overcome.

I said that was Hurts...nobody else had a season ( Bradberry and Sweat aside.. and just the young kids needing to grow) to where last season matters.

Remember your idea...." how will they handle the first loss, because it's not just the first loss, it's going back to last year"

This was your idea...now when it shifts to Hurts...you no longer think it matters?

This is similar to " I can't wait to see Barkley,  Shipley and Milton at RB this year" ... and then " I always liked Gainwell "

Come on dude... the spin is ridiculous.

So you’re blaming him for 6 turnovers this season you’re saying?

Let's all consider ourselves lucky that the brutal decision to throw across the field vs Green Bay.... wasn't a turnover!  That's a pick 6 dropped.

There is the bigger picture of putting the ball at risk...with dumb decisions...where there could have easily been more turnovers at worse times.   There is decision making on QB keepers. Decisions on taking safeties or sacks and not throwing the ball away.    A lot of guys open that he didn't see...Goedert plenty of times.

With his limited arm ... he needs to be smarter than the average NFL QB.  Especially on any back foot throws or ones where he rolls left.

So if Saquan catches the easy game sealing short gimme pass….does Hurts try to force a desperation comeback  downfield throw afterwards?

Agreed Barkley needs to catch the ball... Barkley is the reason that we didn't win.

But Hurts wasn't in desperate situation.   27 seconds left with a time out on the 43 yard line.   Come on.. he needs to kill the play and get to the next down.   That's where his weak arm is an issue, so he needs to read it quickly and avoid back foot into coverage.

The situation Hurts was in.... QBs live for that.  The best QB in franchise history... wouldn't do what Hurts does in year 5.

Jalen Hurts completed 76.7 percent of his passes vs. the Falcons and 76.3 percent in New Orleans. He’s the first quarterback in Eagles history to complete at least 75 percent of his passes in consecutive regular-season games

Wow .. ok... how many throws were past 12 yards in the air?     How many TD passes....and for a first like this...how many yards?

So in 2 games....how many yards and TD passes....and how many points did it lead to?

The fact that the other numbers aren't impressive at all... should show you he needs to stick to the short throws and manage the game without making mistakes.

2 games.... 494 yards passing... 1 TD and 2 interceptions

But congrats on the spin.  Just historic stuff proving how throwing for 247 yards, half a TD and one pick per game is just great.

Imagine 16 games with 8 TD passes and 16 turnovers?   Just phenomenal stuff.  Puff out that chest baby.

Never have I seen a Philadelphia athlete have all these excuses made for him. We are supposed to be a tough fanbase.  This is pathetic.

It’s always about trolling Hurts for you

QBs don’t live for situations…at home….when it’s time to ice the game and he does everything but duck tape the ball to the RB on a pass…only to have him drop it. Hurts had the game won. It should have been pretty much over already. Coach, RB, D all epically failed to create that crap situation. No QB is looking for that situation …at  all.

First to do it…again moment for Hurts as an Eagles

He is not the best QB in franchise history....not even close.   You bring all this upon yourself with your worship of him.

Really you are bringing up his last two games...and puffing your chest out?  You think we win the SB with that level performance?

Why was his completion percentage high?  Because he threw mostly short high percentage passes. How many were under 5 yards?  His decision making has been sub par.  Not just on the plays that led to turnovers but on plenty of others as well.

Yeah... the QBs are all wanting the ball in their hands at the end ... needing to make a couple of plays to win the game

Your expectations fir your boy are so low.   It's really pathetic... you don't think any other QB in franchise history would make 2 pass plays in 27 seconds with a time out ...needing 15 yards?    Lol.

Wow... if he played this way the rest of the year...like the last two games... does he get close to being Best QB in franchise history?

If he plays the same way the rest of the year...is he in the MVP conversation?

If he plays this way the rest of the year, do the Eagles win the SB?

If he plays this way the rest of the year, does he make the pro bowl?

If you don't think it's a yes to any of these questions....you don't puff your chest out about it.

He is going to need more than 7 TDs the rest of the year.  If he throws 14 more INTs and loses 7 more fumbles while only getting those 7 TDs...  we are in trouble.

Which top QB do you think can have those numbers and have his team be successful?

Like Hurts helped create…when Saquan dropped the pass…and Siri mentally farted not running the ball to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hurts has lead the O down the field to win the game all three games to start the season. Game should have been iced against the Falcons.

We know your boy was Chip Kelly. But you’ve really been championing Siri as the CEO coach for his brilliant decision making. His decisions have been just terrible. Brutal HC our team has been trying to overcome each game.

Your boy is not close to being MVP...or best QB in franchise history.    You are delusional.

Right now....nobody even thinks he is a top QB in the game now.   As BG pointed out...The guy in Carolina has just as many TD passes...playing in one game.

The level that Hurts is playing right now... not good enough.

But I agree 💯....Barkley needs to catch the easy ball... but he dropped it similar to the Green Bay DB dropping the gift pick 6 that Hurts threw and it cost them that first game.  These pros have to make those easy catches when the QB puts the ball right there for them

Wow...watching that replay of the one key 3rd down catch Goedert made with one hand on that short throw ....phenomenal!

When did we start giving QBs the gaming win drive in games they lost…. Carr drove his team down for the win as well until the D let us answer.

we don’t give any other player the well if this happened he would have… it’s stupid yes we would have won the Falcons game if not for Barkley drop but we still had a chance to win or worse case tie the game after that…. We failed so at the end of the day Hurts didn’t drive down and lead us for that win there isn’t a grey area on that situation pretty cut and dry black and white

But enough on Hurts something that did come out of the Saints game that might be underrated is how well Fred Johnson and Steen played on the right side….

"One read and run with zero field awareness”

Having a great cast is gold for a QB.SO 4 passes and completing 3 is 75%. Then toss a pick and wipe all that out. Just wonderful. Ham hates stats, until ne needs to use them for his agenda. Comical. 4 TD's and 3 picks is ALSO 75%(not counting fumbles)

With the best QB in franchise history games should not come down to ONE PASS. You need to be better with a few game day boo boo's They will happen, drops will happen You need a lead so those aren't really an issue. You need to be better that the other guy who let's boo boo's ruin games. This is one of the best offenses in the league, but you wouldn't know it by the scoring. Bark has most of our TD's. He dropped a pass,he won't again. But Hurts should not have to rely on last minute clutch plays. This team should be able to score at will. The tush push is back because our franchise QB can't get 10 yards in 3 plays. Why is that?(sans excuses why is that?)

Great weapon, career best last game. So why isn't he used when AJ is in? Why does he disappear? Hurts looks for AJ ALONE. last game Goedert became Hurts 1 read and we saw the results. Imagine if Hurts can find AJ then Goedert as a checkdown(read 2 on the same play),but that isn't happening. What if Hurts could go through 4 progressions every play and hit the open man?(like the best QB in franchise history should do)

Bark is the offense right now and we are winning despite Hurts. Those 8 yard passes that Goederrt runs into 30 are padding Hurts passing stats LOL. Ham is a huge YAC nut so he should see this easily
