It’s just a one year on his fifth year rookie option. That price leads me to believe he isn’t interested in negotiations. One year rental. But yeah…cheaper than we got Swift. But Swift’s cap number was so cheap. Fifth year option is full cap hit.

For Jeudy that''s a steal.Very solid WR. Cap hit on a rook contract can't be all that much. Now they need to re sign Flacco and figure out how to lose Watson(if you want to talk cap hits Whoomp there it is)

Besides Luvu,I would be interested in the RG from Miami. I believe his name is Hunt. He is young and could be a nice long termer. if memory serves he is 26

Apparently there is movement from a native American tribe, suing to get the "Redskins" name back. I will call them the Wuss until that happens

So the birds want Huff, I would like that signing. If we could add Luvu(Carolina LB) and Hunt the RG from Miami, that would be immense help. All 3 are young. Add some nice rookie talent and we're back in the mix again(RB still to be decided). A Sharp rookie slot addition would also help the offense and Hurts. Malik Washington is my choice. he can also play out,but let him get his feet wet in the slot. A nice TE 2 prospect would also be nice or maybe OG(I cant spell his name HAHA jebus there are no Johns or Davids left now) can progress to that point. Spann-Ford is a nice TE prospect that needs coached up. I suspect Howie uses those 5ths to make the moves he wants. The 1,2,2 is also really nice to have in your back pocket. Howie just NEEDS to address this secondary,it's been too long for some nice young blood,I mean TOP talent. Even getting Luvu would not change my mock of a top LB and CB at both round 2 slots.(I like my guy and Hams guy too, either would do) Anxious to see who we get. I would look at teams that have a nice RB 3 they want to lose

What?    Explain this?  We paid more than a 5th and 6th for Swift?

Fletch announced his retirement ☹️. It's hard seeing the big dogs go.

I don’t really understand the Watson situation. Guy was a top QB. How did all that talent just disappear?

I have very little doubts the Commanders name won’t stick.

I’m sure the owners probably gave a tribe a big bag of money to get that ball rolling.

A fourth

Was explaining to FL how the Jeudy trade is considered a one year rental because of that cheap price.

A 4th... is more than giving 2 picks?

Agreed to bringing BG back for one more season.

Explain how giving up a 5th and 6th in the upcoming draft is more than giving up a 4th in a draft that takes place 2 years later?

Would you prefer the 2024 5th and 6th or the 2026 4th?  In a trade if you were getting the picks?

The value of the picks decreases the later the pick is.

Denver got more for Jeudy than we gave up for Swift.

Don’t know if you’ve realized this yet but….the values in the draft decrease massively as the draft goes along. Three days of drafting. First two days are crucial and stocked with talent. So the fourth round is a huge breaking point. After two days of drafting you come back for that last day and that first pick is the fourth round. After that? Feels like the draft is almost a wash. The line between fifth round talent and seventh rounder is hard to even distinguish.

No Mas, can you agree on the discussion of its cheap trade price for Jeudy? That signifies that Jeudy most likely won’t be extended?

But I’ll give you this point No Mas. I forgot the fourth was years off. So a current 5 and 6 is probably more valuable than the distant future fourth. It’s a trade for a premium WR…not an injured RB…but won’t get all into that.

I’d say Rosie is super busy lining up undrafted players while the sixth round is going on even.

Kind of weird. I know he can't stay healthy,so another great acquisition by the mistake on the lake

I disagree,if he is shining 1/2 way through the season, you bet they will give him a new contract,so once again that was a CHEAP pick up for a valid WR who you now have the option of re-signing

Was thinking about how so very different the WR market will be for us to retain Smitty….after Justin Jefferson completely blows the doors off with his new contract.

They are contacted WAY before that

I told you he was the pick LOL

They’d want to extend him to begin with. It’s from the player side of things to not sign an extension. That’s why the Broncos are trading him to begin with. They’d like to extend Jeudy themselves.
