April 6Apr 6 Author Just filled up my car at $7.40 a gallon. An article in the local news today suggests the prices could go as high as $11 per gallon over the summer.

April 6Apr 6 I've been filling up when at 1/2 tank. Just made the $3.99 mark on Friday. Around here it's over $4. now. I do work local so there's that, until next month when will be going down to the bay.

April 7Apr 7 I was never a big motor head back in the day, though I did have a 1979 Chevelle SS. Inwas Camaro man though, and hated mustangs. I like mustangs now though and appreciate most old muscle cars. I like the e mustang. Of course they’re not the same as the old gas version, but either am I.

E cars will eventually outperform Gas models.I purposely didn't comment because, well, I really don't care.... it's a stupid schtick for me.But yeah, electric cars are quick off the line in general because they produce 100% torque the second you press the "gas". The 2025 gt mach-e goes 0-60 in 3.8 (without the performance upgrade... with it it's 3.3 seconds). We just have the premium trim package (it's a fuel efficient crossover for us, not a performance car) AWD but it's still able to do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Compare those to the 2025 gas GT, which goes 0-60 in 4.3 seconds.
