The Mach E has much more power than you think. It is faster 0-60 than most gas mustangs, and easily beats them in the 1/4 mile. They can hang with a Shelby 0-60, but then Shelby is faster by the 1/4 mile. E cars will eventually outperform Gas models.

it's still an abortion of the real mustang.

  • Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

Where the hell are you trying to get to so quickly?

We just have the premium trim package (it's a fuel efficient crossover for us, not a performance car) AWD but it's still able to do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds.

Fancy. My car doesn't even go up to 60.

It’s a matter of taste and opinion. In my opinion, the real abortion of a Mustang was the Mustang II, or any model without a V-8. The body style has grown on me over the years, but it didn’t look like a typical muscle car back then.

The Mach E has all the power that its ancestors have. But oh noooooo, It has fours doors and looks more like a crossover. I agree I didn’t think it had the Mustang look to it in pics, but I got a different feel standing next to one. Not the same standing next to a typical crossover.

lol, i actually had a 76 cobra II with the 302 (switched out the two barrel carb for a four). i had just sold my 78 z28 and TBH, while the styling wasn't on the same level, the mustang was faster.

as ive said to paco, i think the mach e is a nice vehicle on its own, just think it was weak calling it a mustang.

I was never a big motor head back in the day, though I did have a 1979 Chevelle SS. Inwas Camaro man though, and hated mustangs. I like mustangs now though and appreciate most old muscle cars. I like the e mustang. Of course they’re not the same as the old gas version, but either am I.

A '79? .....

Do you mean '70?

I actually meant 71. I traded it in on a 79 Jeep CJ7 Renegade.

I used to be more of a car guy but mostly it just gets me from a to b now.

My father has a '70 Chevelle SS LS6 (the 454)

Honestly, I've never had a better, more enjoyable vehicle then the 2024 Tesla M3 Performance I own currently. 0-60 in 2.9 secs and I never have to leave the house for fuel. Car drives itself, literally, everywhere if I choose to pay $100 any particular month.

Settle down old man, I've driven more of them than you have

Weird flex

You only understand at your level perception.

When/if you get to a point in your life where the price of gasoline doesn't affect you, it won’t seem so "weird".

That’s funny. I don’t know what a 99 GT looks like from the rear view mirror if you drive that.

Slowpoke lol

I dont have it anymore, dumped it when my my second child was born. Just under 800 HP twin turbo, you would have taken me on a road track, thats about it.

As for what it looked like, it looked like a Mustang lmao.

Good point. The Mach has an advantage on roads.

I got to a point with mine where I couldnt F with the suspension anymore and really drive it on the road. Mustangs from that era were never great handling cars anyway....pretty much any modern car corners better.

Ever drive a road course? Its fun, a friend had an 86 Porsche, its wasnt fast but it felt like driving a go cart.

I've been informed that my next car is going to be the Sienna hybrid.

My dick will fall off but I can play Mario Kart in the back seat if I want. So ya know, pros and cons.

I mean, you didn't exactly pick the specialty known for a high performance lifestyle.
