I wouldn’t call it a nightmare but I still hate the whole thing. Like what the F even happened? We will never know because the NHL hides when players have hang nails so no chance we get the real reason for it. I will say though that he wasn’t a Danny pick and the prior GM was a complete failure so there is a bit of "moving on” with both sides.

You cloud clearly see the Flyers were the younger, faster, better team yesterday. Will younger and faster beat experience? History says no, but what my eyes saw on the ice said yes, it could.

Skinner was on his game early. The score could have been 6-2 Flyers if he didn’t stop all those breakaway chances. The Flyers dominated

I was a huge Flyers fan during the Lindros years and beyond for a while….but fell off when life was too busy to reliably follow all 4 teams and the Flyers just weren’t good. It’s exciting that the Flyers are young, ascending, have depth, and seem to have that scrappy energy…but it feels like they are missing those 1-2 high end stars to really build the next generation around.

Pretty fortunate it’s 0-0 considering we had 3 penalty kills. That said 2 shots for the penguins and 5 for the Flyers. Gotta think we see more action over the next 2 periods
