I think he’s fine as a player. Imo they need to get themselves a top tier D-man (hard to find). If they can it pushes guys into roles more suited for their talent and would elevate us to another level with how vladar has played this year. Issue is they’ve drafted and developed some solid DMen but never the no. 1 guy. With the cap space they have and some extra draft picks i really hope we find a way to get that guy and a 1C

When you think about it out loud, they had 98 points this year without that. If you added that they might’ve won an extra five maybe even six games. And now you’re talking about one of the best teams in the east.

I agree and they need a 1C to really take off. The D is fine they’re playing much better under Tocchet they’re getting the job done more so than not. They can only get better and I hope Briere continues to build this team even after this season. We are very young

I am curious to see what they do in the off-season. Because the free agent market isn’t great at the positions that they need help at. So I think the trade market is the route that they’re going to have to go. That Toronto Maple Leafs pick is going to be really nice asset for them. I think it can help acquire either a top center or a top defenseman.
