One Battle is the far superior movie by the way. Sinners is From Dusk Till Dawn in period form.

Oh so it's just like the best movie of all time?

If you wanna go further back, The Father, Ford vs Ferrari, 1917, Green Book, First Man, Get Out, Lion

Out of all the ones you've said, if I had to give you one, it'd be Get Out.

Everything else on your two posts would have been light Hollywood work in the early 2000's and before

Nothing you really liked until you go that far back? I kinda think 2012 was one of the best years for movies in decades. Zero Dark Thirty, Life of Pi, Moneyball, etc. I'd have to go way back to the early 90's to find something comparable. I do agree that streaming as a platform has changed the cinema landscape for the worse, but I'd say that's due to the surging demand for long-form series and shows that's driving talent away from feature films as a format.

I gotta say Ive enjoyed all kinds of movies lately, I go every Wednesday afternoon by myself. Beer and taco next door after. I try not to be so analytical when it comes to being entertained.

PTA movies are usually about men who are on the down slope from their peak and they're trying to come to terms with it, and that's a really niche plot. Either you like it or you don't. This one was the same, it just added in a bunch of throwing shade at political extremists.

Haven't finished Nuremburg yet, but it's pretty decent so far.

Sinners was ok. Didn't really knock my socks off.

Im a sucker for period pieces, horror or not. The things they do now with the wardrobe and sets is really cool.

I am extremely lucky to have 3 movie theaters within walking distance. An old city theater perfect for horror movies, a big screen theater and arthouse/foreign movie theater. They all sell alcohol too.

How's your war going?

Haven’t really been following it. Those first couple of days in the 80's really kicked in my plans for the season.

Lots to do this year.

Most movies suck anymore, but there have been some good shows in the last year. The Residence was very entertaining

I understand. Best you just send out for some more brew and settle into your folding lawn chair. Have them bring you some straws as well. Maybe a bucket of KFC every other day or so.

So many hobos in the alley waiting for you with their $10 bills and such little time.

Thats cool. We dont have stuff like that around here. I pay like 20 bucks. Month and can go see as many movies as I want though, I probably got 5 or 6 times a month.

Also, best steak taco ive ever eaten at the Mexican Bar/restaurant next door.

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day, you need a corned beef and cabbage taco.

We do the corned beef and cabbage meal. Saw there was a local restaurant offering Irish tacos, hence my post.

Lol you have such a thing for me you miserable dude

Bush did it, So did Obama. Build coalitions of allies to go to battle with us. But not Trump, he has alienated all of our allies and is crying for help to open up Hormuz. A total failure as a leader. Loser.

I guess as long as no one’s asking him to fight in it
