The only country that is winning this war is Israel. Iran, the US and the rest of the world is losing while israel completes their objective of degrading iran and hezbollah at the expense of everybody else's blood and treasure. This is the only victory trump is going to declare when he finally retreats with his tail between his legs; Israel's objectives. An actually enforceable agreement between Us /Iran is pretty much impossible at this point. Tactically against the US they are. Enforcing the closure of the straight is an actionable deterrent better than nuclear weapons and puts the US on a time table to make a deal. Politically the regime ramrodded the succession they wanted during war time which is way easier than it would have been in peace time.
